Love this post. Especially the adoption part. I couldn’t agree more. I am not adopted but I know it changes lives for the better if the right fit is found. And your healthy tips on foods, an answer to many outbursts of, “what can I eat?” Thank you caloric fairy god mother!
When I think of your dad, that picture is what I see- the dark hair and mustache! Having two adopted siblings and parents that boarded babies until they were ready to be placed, I have strong feelings about how wonderful adoption is.
My husband and I were in the beginning stages of adoption when we discovered we were pregnant for the sixth time with our now second child. I cannot express to you how great the need is for adoptive parents! We are definitely planning on adopting once our littlest one is a bit older. Thank you for bringing this important issue to the front of our minds.
So cool you are joining with adoption.com, you guys really are all over the map! Obviously I am a HUGE fan of adoption since all of my children are adopted, and only one as an infant – so I know that older children adoptions can work as well. I bet your experiences with your dad were amazing. Thanks for your always amazing posts!
Oh I am a HUGE fan of adoption- we would never have Sawyer our sweet beautiful little boy. I know there are so many kids out there that deserve loving homes. Please help!
It was my husband who convinced me that I didn’t need a “baby” to adopt, when there were so many older kids out there who needed homes. We officially adopted our sibling group of two little girls (now 5 1/2 & 4) recently (they’ve been with us for 2 years). We’re gearing up to adopt more! I LOVE ADOPTION!!!
Now about your second post. Thanks for getting me inspired to make “snack packs” for me and my family. I KNOW this will help with losing weight and portion control.
Again, thanks for the inspirations!!!
