I’ve heard about several families who have the tradition of giving kites to their kids, in their Easter basket. I think that’s a perfect idea! My kids would love it. So, I started doing a little research on kites. I was so happy to find that there is a specific kite brand (Easy Flyer) that people LOVE for durability and ease of use. Oh, and they’re easy to put together, very important. It’s a little bit pricier than the piece-of-junk-kite you buy at the dollar store…well $23 dollars more than those ones. But, from what I’m reading, it’s worth it! In fact, I just ordered three of them!
“We bought this kite for our 9 year old. It has been a hit since the day he got it. In both light winds and super strong winds, it has performed better than expected. It is very well constructed out of heavy nylon, the colors are bright, the stitching is tough and the hitch for the string is very secure. It has been great fun to fly it! We also bought the 50 lb. roll of string as recommended by other buyers which has worked out great because the round roll with handles works a lot better than the rectangular one that comes with this kite. Great buy! We will definitely be getting another.”
“I did a lot of research before making a kite purchase because I wanted my 2-year olds first experience to be an enjoyable one. These “Easy Flyers” got some of the best ratings/reviews, and when I phoned a so called kite expert he recommended the Easy Flyer line as well. So I bought one, and all I can say is wow. My 2-year old literally just stood there and barely tugged the line while I was on the other end holding the kite and it took off. The kite never once crashed, and looked great. There were 3 other people with kites in our group, and none of them stayed in the air.”
Have a great day 🙂
