Hello all! Here is a quick fashion DIY for those of you who are bored with the look of your sunglasses. I own three pairs that I absolutely love and realize that all of them look just about the same. Black, kinda oversized and all plastic, including the rim. I love the metal look of the other trendy sunglasses but hate the fact that you can’t really wear them to the beach or in the water…Here is a quick tip to have that look plus wear them wherever, even in the water. Doing this adds a little brightness to your face…
Things you will need:
- Sunglasses (plastic)
- Sharpie Metallic (gold, silver or bronze)
Grab your favorite pair of shades. Wipe the area clean that you will be painting.
I used the Gold Metallic Sharpie. These things are just amazing on any surface…
I am so into polka dots this season (and last season), so I decided to go with that design. No drawing skills needed here! You can do stripes, hearts etc.
Here are my FAILED attempts to capture how pretty this shines in the light. It is really hard!
FAIL.
Major FAIL.
Getting there…
After about a million attempted shots of photographing myself, I had to remove it from my face and photograph it properly. The super cute metallic polka-dots shines but not too much. It catches just enough shimmer when the light or sunlight hits it…This really took me about four to five minutes to do and I wear these everywhere. Go ahead and try this even on your designer sunglasses. Why not?? It’s all about making minor changes to things that you may already love and loving it even more
Enjoy! Happy sunny days to you all…
