My kids are in love with finger painting prints. They literally won’t stop making them. It must be the ooey gooey goodness of getting your hands dirty. Or maybe it’s the surprise of the swirling colors when the print is made. Even I made a couple. I couldn’t resist!
Here’s how to make them. Get a sheet of plexi-glass and squirt tempra paint on it in several places. Use one color or as many as you’d like. Tell your child to go ahead and finger paint to his heart’s content.
When they’re finished, place a sheet of paper on the plexiglass over the paint. Gently and evenly rub it all over with your hand.
Then lift your paper off, carefully, revealing your child’s masterpiece. Be prepared to repeat the whole process again and again.
