With the special Halloween decor, entertainment and treats at the resort all during fall break, October is becoming one of the most popular times to visit Disneyland. This year is no exception, but with the Diamond Celebration going on, there’s a whole new level of excitement and some pretty major differences you’ll want to be aware of if you’re taking your family.
Each year during the busy travel season, we hear stories firsthand from families who bought Disneyland tickets for what they thought was a great deal, but then find out they were scammed. And that is NO fun at all. With that said, I thought it would be good time to warn families about where not to buy Disneyland tickets for their summer vacation – just to be safe.

Hey Everyone, it’s Kimberly from Packed with Fun, the official blog for Get Away Today. I was a little nervous about how I would hold up but, honestly, it ended up being one of my favorite trips. If you’ve ever wondered about taking a Disneyland vacation while pregnant, I can confidently say you can still have a great time. With that said, I definitely have some Disneyland tips for the pregnant mom.
Hey Everyone, it’s Kimberly from Packed with Fun, the official blog for Get Away Today. If you’ve read my posts before, you know that we LOVE Disneyland. And if you haven’t heard, this is a big year for the Disneyland Resort. It’s Disneyland’s 60th Anniversary and it’s going to be amazing! I was lucky enough to be invited to a special sneak peak a couple of weeks ago and wanted to share a little bit of what’s coming with you.
First of all, the event will kick-off May 22, 2015 and it’s going to be huge. For starters, since it’s Disneyland’s Diamond Celebration, Sleeping Beauty’s Castle and the Carthay Circle Theatre are getting diamond makeovers. When I was there, the castle was being worked on around-the-clock and although it was a little sad to see sheets and scaffolding, the final result will be well worth it.

At Get Away Today it’s an especially exciting year because we are celebrating our 25th Anniversary. Woohoo! Hey Everyone, it’s Kimberly from Packed With Fun, the official blog for Get Away Today. Right now we are in the midst of my favorite time of year to visit the Disneyland Resort: Halloween Time. I hope it helps with your Disneyland vacation planning!
Hey everyone, it’s Kimberly from PackedwithFun.com, the official blog for Get Away Today. We specialize in Southern California vacations and I love sharing insider travel tips and tricks here on “Or So She Says.” The Southern California theme parks are always fun, but one of my favorite times to visit is during the Halloween season. Now, just to be clear, I love Halloween, but I don’t do scary. Since October is a really popular travel month due to U.E.A. and other fall breaks, I wanted to share a brief overview of what you can expect during Halloween at Southern California Theme Parks:
