For homeschool, the other day, we were watching science videos on YouTube and I wasn’t too impressed. I was hoping for something a little more in-depth, but also something that would appeal to my older kids (ages 7 and up.) And, we found a fun one… a really cool science show! Have you seen Brain Games from the National Geographic Channel?? It’s super fun and my kids are always asking if we can watch one episode after another.
The episodes are all about the human brain and the amazing ways it works. Today we watched an episode all about colors and how your brain sees colors that aren’t there. Yesterday, we watched one about competition and how the dopamine system in your brain may determine how competitive you are. Every episode is super engaging and has these little games to play with the tv and experiments to try at home.
We don’t get the National Geographic Channel, so we just purchased the episodes from Amazon Prime through our Roku. I also saw that you can buy the DVDs through the NG store.
That’s all. Just had to tell you.
