Being humble is such an important quality to have…and something I try to be. However, I had a major slip-up yesterday and found myself repeatedly saying, “I’m freakin’ awesome. I’m so awesome.” Over and over again.
Why the sudden surge in arrogance, you ask?? That’s not like me at all, right?
So dude, check this out. I have been so bothered by the fact that I can never find the right color or matching hair bows for my little girls when I need one. They are all in a jumbled mess. So, the other day I was in Wal-Mart walking down the aisles and I something came to me. I knew at once I was receiving heavenly inspiration. Before my eyes, I beheld…an over-the-door, clear, plastic, shoe organizer. Have mercy! I immediately realized the better purpose and could not deny the fabulousness of it all.
A perfect hair bow organizer! I love it! We’ve got a slot for every color, every category or multi-colors, and one for clippies and the other for jewelry.
Even better, this thing was like 8 bucks. Can’t beat that! Now I know what colors I need more of, what colors we have, etc. Besides organizing hair bows and shoes, think: little boy’s cars, crayon colors, beads, craft supplies, makeup/beauty products, you name it!
Need some cuties to fill up those slots? I’m freaking over these clips at Little Lesiw’s shop.
Or, HBlackberry’s shop has a whole array of packages of mix’n’match bows.
While I’m feeling cocky, I challenge you to have a better Spring door decoration than me! Can you see the baby bird’s head!?! There are four babies in my wreath! House Finches.
They sure make lots of noise, but they’re so cute! My front door has been completely non-functional for weeks now! Oh, and my wreath is pretty much ruined. But, at least I get to see sweet baby birds every day.
Have a happy day!
