Healthy Greek Chicken Pita Sandwiches (she: Jana)

Servings 4 -5 half pita sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces (about 1 inch)
  • 1/3 cup fat-free Caesar salad dressing
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup olives any flavor you like, chopped finely
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2-3 pita breads halved
  • lettuce
  • tomato
  • red onion thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook chicken over medium heat in a large pan coated with non stick cooking spray until starting to brown & no longer pink.
  2. Add the dressing, cheese, olives and garlic powder and stir until heated through.
  3. Place lettuce, tomatoes and onion on one half of each pita and then stuff with about 1/3-1/2 cup chicken filling.
