Christmas Tree OREO Cookie Ball Pops

OREO Cookie Ball Pops
Servings 40 cookie balls

Ingredients

  • 6 oz 3/4 of 8-oz pkg. brick cream cheese - softened
  • 1 pkg. 15.25 oz OREO Mint Creme Cookies - finely crushed
  • 12 oz white baking chocolate
  • green food coloring 6 drops
  • green and/or white decorating icings
  • 40 small hot cinnamon candies
  • 40 lollipop sticks

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together softened cream cheese and crushed cookies.
  2. Roll into 1 inch round balls and place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Melt 1/3 of melting/baking chocolate according to package directions.
  4. Add a couple drops of green food coloring and mix.
  5. Dip lollipop stick into melted chocolate and insert into center of cookie ball.
  6. Once all lollipop sticks are inserted into the cookie balls, place tray in freezer for 10 minutes.
  7. Melt remaining baking chocolate and color green with food coloring.
  8. Remove cookie balls from freezer and dip each cookie ball into melted chocolate, gently shaking each one to remove any excess chocolate.
  9. Use decorating icing to add tree design and cinnamon candy.
  10. Refrigerate 1 hour or until chocolate coating is firm.
  11. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
