Bacon Apple Cheddar Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 c. cooked crumbled bacon
  • 1 c. chopped apples
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder

Instructions

  1. Heat the butter in a saucepan until melted.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in cheese. Cool 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in sour cream, bacon, and apples and mix well.
  4. Add dry ingredients and stir until blended.
  5. Spoon batter into 24 lightly greased muffin cups.
  6. Bake at 375 degrees 12-15 minutes.
  7. Cool in pan 5 minutes; remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
