I’m not very good at talking dirty, just ask my husband. In fact, he would probably say the dirtiest word to come out of my mouth is “mud”. I can’t…I just can’t do it and be serious at the same time. I start laughing.
So, I needed to get him something for Valentine’s Day. We decided we’re giving each other a little get-a-way to either Mesquite or St. George. Both, the closest places that we can pull out our golf clubs and not be surrounded by snow. But still…I wanted to get him something little. At Costco, they were selling 24 packs of Coke in glass bottles…his favorite! Got that, but its still kinda lame. So, I started to think about the things he really loves and most of my thoughts ended up being rather dirty, like mud. He loves some good lingerie…but, I’m usually too tired or too “grubby wife/mom” feeling to want to wear it. He loves those homemade “coupon books” you have to hide from the kids…done that before, and he WOULD love if I talked dirty to him. Ugh, seriously….that’s my only option.
I came up with a plan…something to give him for V-day that will also make it easier for me to be that nasty-chick he SO wants. And, it will crack me up….I can’t wait!
Here’s what I made: word magnets! (he’ll take whatever he can get)
I was at Staples (the office supply store) and saw a package of printable magnet sheets. Who knew?? Oh, the possibilities! I came up with 4 pages of random words (some specifically geared for naughty-talk…like “too – tired” “let’s – cuddle – instead”.) I double spaced the lines and had about 4 spaces between each word, that makes them easier to cut out.

Just ONE example of what’s to come…he’ll love it…the kids will totally roll their eyes. (Hey, at least they know we love each other!)
Anyway, this took me about an hour to make. The hardest part was thinking of all the words and then cutting them out. But, after that…I just dropped them all into a cellophane bag, tied a bow around it, put it in a cute pot, and made a sign…”I’m so ‘attracted’ to you“. They could also be packaged in a cute tin, box, on a magnetic board, or bundled in cellophane.
