Primary Talk October 13: One By One
After Jesus died, he visited the people in the Americas. They had been faithfully watching for His coming! When Jesus came to them, they were so happy. They wanted to spend as much time with Him as they could.
Jesus made time to speak with each person, one by one. He let them touch his hands and feet. He blessed them.
This story helps me to know that Jesus loves me. He knows me and cares about me individually.
He ministered to his people in the Americas one at a time and he will take time to walk with us if we seek Him. He is our brother and He knows us and loves us.

Primary Talk October 20: Search The Scriptures
The scriptures are full of important messages from God, Jesus, and the prophets. Reading the scriptures helps us draw closer to Heavenly Father and we learn about Jesus and how to become more like Him!
Reading the scriptures is not always easy. There are big words and a lot of things that can be hard to understand. God has promised that as we read the scriptures, the Holy Ghost will help us to understand.
Here are a few ways to make reading easier:
- Learn the scripture stories so they are familiar
- Watch scripture videos from the Church
- Listen in Primary class and help to read when asked by the teachers
- Read small sections at a time
- Be consistent with your efforts and keep trying
When we make the effort to read the scriptures, we are blessed!

Primary Talk October 27: The Good News of the Gospel
Did you know that the word “Gospel” means “Good News?” The gospel is literally Good News from Heavenly Father.
The Gospel is based on Jesus Christ and His Atonement. Jesus died for us so that we can return to our Heavenly Father and live with our families for eternity. He is our example.
We are so lucky to have this knowledge about Jesus. It is such good news!
It is important for us to share what we know with our friends and family. When you bear your testimony you bring this good news to others. It is a blessing to be able to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and be a light to the world.
