Good morning!
I’m Kristi, the gal behind making it in the mountains where I share all sorts of budget friendly home decor and DIY ideas. Last month when I popped in to share my Spring Bottle Vases, I was just embarking on our most epic DIY journey yet as we signed on to take part in the One Room Challenge. Have you heard of it? Basically, we committed to making over one room in our home in just six weeks. Yep, SIX weeks! It was an absolute whirlwind, but I’m thrilled to say we made it through the other side and we really couldn’t be happier with the results!Plus this little adventure made me actually sit down and think about how I want to redecorate the whole house. Has anyone else found it extremely difficult choosing colours for your house? I feel like it is a huge commitment. Curious about which room we chose to transform? You can check out our final reveal here! Here’s a little hint: it may just involve a perfectly weathered wood plank wall!
In honor of my new favorite wall in our home and the wood that’s made it that way, I thought I’d share a few of my favorite ways to Dress your Walls with Wood!
