Fly fishing is a passion of my husbands, I can’t quite figure it out because I think regular fishing is difficult enough but I know that he would be like a kid on Christmas morning to find a fly fishing rod and reel as a Father’s Day gift.
You can’t go fly fishing without lures.. I don’t know anything about lures but I have figured out (after a couple years of marriage) that you can look online at www.utahfishfinder.com/fishing to find out what kind of lures work for the area where your honey fishes or there are hints for general lures that work in most areas. Once you compile your list, you can take it to the nice men at your nearest outdoors supply store and they are usually very helpful in finding what you need.
My husband loves to read but it’s hard to find “manly” books. Louis L’amour writes quintessential western cowboy, gun firing, saving the damsel in distress books. It’s really nice when both me and my man can sit down and both be entertained with a good book!
Motocross is another of Jesse’s hobbies. Since we can’t always make a drive to the sandunes, there are several motocross tracks that you can buy a season pass to. They are usually good for an entire year. www.motoutah.com is a great website to find reviews and other pertinant information for indiividual tracks throughout the state.
