May 5 Primary Talk: Covenants
A covenant is a promise we make with God. We can always count on God keeping His promises to us.
One special covenant we make is baptism. When we are baptized, we bind our hearts to Jesus. We promise to be like him. We take His name upon us.
When we make this covenant, God promises to always be with us.
Covenants are an important part of the Gospel. I am so glad that we can trust God and know that he is always there for us.

May 12 Primary Talk: The Lord Strengthens Me
It is easy to feel weak when facing trials. Life can be hard. But, when we have faith in the Lord, he can help us to feel strong.
How can Jesus help us when we need it?
- He can answer prayers
- He can help us feel peace
- He can give us courage
- He can bless us with knoweldge
- He can share his love
We can rely on our brother Jesus to be strong. He is always there to help. He will never leave us to face our trials alone.

May 19 Primary Talk: I Can Stand Up For Jesus
There will be times in our lives when we have to stand up for what is right. It is not always easy! Standing up for Jesus Christ is a test of our courage and faith.
We have many great examples to follow like Jospeh Smith, the Pioneers, Abinadi, Alma, and Moroni.
When we learn their stories it can help us to have the courage to do what is right…even when life is hard.
I hope I can show my faith in Jesus with my actions because I love Him and want to be like Him.

May 26 Primary Talk: We Can Help Each Other
When the people of Alma were baptized, they made a covenant with God to keep His commandments. We make that same covenant when we are baptized.
The people of Alma worked very hard to help each other keep their covenants. They supported each other! It made choosing the right easier because they were all working towards the same goal.
We can be like them! We can help our friends and family keep their covenants too. Let’s cheer each other on and encourage those around us to do what is right. When we do this, it makes Jesus and Heavenly Father happy.
