Primary Talk January 7: No Ordinary Book
The Book of Mormon is not an ordinary book. It is very special.
The Book of Mormon is a miracle. It was written to bring people closer to God and witness that Jesus is the Christ and our Redeemer.
I challenge us all to read the Book of Mormon! We have been promised that we can know that the Book of Mormon is true. If we pray and ask God, the Holy Ghost will bear witness of the Book of Mormon. We will feel it in our hearts.
The prophet has promised that if we read the Book of Mormon we will feel of its power and influence in our lives and that we will be blessed.
I am excited to study the Book of Mormon this year in Come Follow Me lessons.

Primary Talk January 21: I Can Forgive
There are many examples of forgiveness in the scriptures. Nephi was a good example of forgiveness.
In the Book of Mormon the prophet, Nephi, was bullied and hurt by his older brothers. They were very mean to him. Nephi knew it was important to love and forgive. He wanted his brothers to be happy and he tried to make things right! He forgave them when they caused harm.
Do you ever have fights or arguments with your brothers or sisters? It is hard to always get along. Jesus wants us to forgive and find ways to make peace.
If we forgive, it makes our own hearts happy! It also brings peace and the Spirit into our homes.

Primary Talk January 28: Hold On To The Word Of God
In the Book of Mormon, the prophet Lehi had a special dream. One part of this dream showed an iron rod. The angel told Lehi to hold tight to the rod.
Our prophets today teach that the iron rod is:
- The Scriptures
- The Words of Living Prophets
- Jesus Christ
When we hold on to these three things it helps us stay on the path. The path leads us safely back to Heavenly Father.
In the dream, there were people who made fun of Lehi for holding on to the rod. He didn’t listen to them. He knew that choosing the right was the most important thing. I hope we can all hold on to the Gospel no matter what!
