Eyes are the window to the soul, right?  So, they better be looking top-notch!  There’s nothing worse than an ugly window.  Nothing.

Okay, I’ll be honest…I have this super weird thing about putting on mascara.  I find it incredibly annoying…and boring.  Yes, boring.  I almost never have it on.  But, sometimes I leave the house and want people to know that I have eyes, so I do the dreaded task.  Just because I don’t love it, doesn’t mean I’m not going to seek out the very best.  The best is what I love (it drives the Beard Man nuts!)…so, here’s the scoop!

 First, let’s start with a primer…

Lancome CILS Booster XL Super Enhancing Mascara Base is a top-rated primer for mascara.  Who needs a primer??  Well, it helps hold the curl, lengthens lashes, makes them look thicker, and helps your mascara glide on.  Reviewers say it makes even the crappiest mascara work like a charm! $22 bones.

Next step, an eyelash curler…
The Shiseido Eyelash Curler is pricier than your average drugstore curler, but the difference is well-worth it.  Instead of the usual BEND…you get a real CURL, imagine that.  No pinching and pulling.  It’s often compared to the other professional brand’s curler, Shu Uemura, but reviewers love that this one sells replacement pads.$19

Now, for the mascara…
I have yet to find anything that I like better than cheap-o .  But, based on the reviews I’ve read, I’m considering trying out these top contenders…

Hundreds of reviewers raved about for its ability to not smudge throughout the day and wash off easily, Clinique Lash Power Mascara isn’t that bad of a price either, $14 buckaroos.

Lancome DEFINICILS High Definition Mascara is a reviewer favorite because of its ability to lengthen, go on smoothly, separate, not smudge, not clump, not irritate, etc.  “Fake eyelashes in a tube”…I might have to test that out! $24.50

Okay, so now it’s the end of the day and you need to wash all that crap off

…you know what works wonders??  I love (and found thanks to reviewers) .  Its like rubbing water on your eyes…doesn’t irritate at all and does a fabulous job of removing any eye gunk. $4.99

If you want the best pad for makeup removal, I love because they are lint free…yuck, I hate when pads fall apart.  These are tough little suckers. $3

And, finally…before you get in bed, you might as well get those lashes growing FOR REAL.

I have to admit, I can’t quite bring myself to love those lash extension fake things that people are getting done lately…I swear, I can always tell they’re fake…and, I don’t like that.  Fake, boo.  But, I’m all about natural eyelash growth.  There are several products out on the market lately, I’m sure you’ve heard of Latisse, Lilash, Revitalash, etc.  But, I’ve been using Dulash because it’s all-natural (won’t discolor your skin or eyes like the other ones can), it’s the best value of all of them (with a money-back guarantee, AND it really works (it’s scientifically proven!).  Who doesn’t want long eyelashes??

After just the first few weeks of using Dulash, my lashes seriously looked so much better.  I sleep on my stomach, pretty much with my face ALWAYS laying on the same side.  So, my lashes have always been a little bit poopie-loopie on one side and nice on the other.  But, now…I swear, totally even and lovely.  They look longer and have a nicer “fan thing” going on.
