This is Sharon again from Lemon Squeezy, and this month I water-colored a quote that I love. Duke Fergerson is a retired professional football player and said this during an interview back in 1988, which was originally advice from his mother. I’m going to put this inspirational printable up where my kids will see it a lot and hopefully it will be something they always remember. Fergerson overcame severe dyslexia and although it provided many trials for him, he graduated from high school and went on to college. He didn’t let his learning struggles keep him from finding success academically, athletically or professionally. It’s a good lesson for all of us, and this quote accurately represents his drive and the strength of Fergerson as well as his mother.
I’ve been collecting a lot of quotes over the past several months so I plan on having some more of these in the future!

With summer coming and kids soon getting out of school, you might also want to check out this free chore chart printable I created for ‘Or so she says…’ last year. Hopefully this will help you keep the kids busy and earning some rewards for summer fun. You can find that post by clicking right HERE. It also might be fun to do an end-of-school-year review with the kids. Start a yearly tradition and see how their answers change at the end of each school year. I created a printable for this, too, and it can easily be used by kids of all ages. You can find that printable by clicking HERE.
See you all back here next month!
