Primary Talks for Children December 2024 – Come Follow Me Topics

Children and Christmas make a pretty fantastic combination! I love that Primary Children around the world learn about Jesus Christ during the Christmas Season in their homes and at Primary! Jesus gives us hope. His gospel brings us peace. His love inspires us to have charity. I pray that you can feel of His love…

It's the time of year to start thinking of giving! Today Rachel has some insight on how to plan a food drive, and it's perfect to get the whole family involved in a good cause. Read all about it at www.orsoshesays.com.

How to Plan a Food Drive (she: Rachel)

This season is a busy time, but don’t let the chance to plan for meaningful projects slip by. It’s a great time of year to plan to give to others, from drawing names for a family “Secret Service Santa” game to a Random Acts of Kindness campaign. This year I’m helping out with a canned food drive with friends from work, so I thought it timely to share a post on how to plan a food drive.

Love One Another – Learning to Love (she: Lindsay)

I think sometimes we over-complicate what life is all about. If we were to boil life down to one main purpose, it would be to learn to love one another. To learn to love like God loves. February Family Night…Sending the LOVE! (she: Tonii)

I am so excited to be back and sharing a great family night activity for one of my MOST favorite holidays…Valentine’s Day! Now I don’t know about you, but in our house Valentine’s Day has become a family affair 🙂 Don’t get me wrong, I love a romantic date with my hubby, but I am also not about to pass up a chance to spend the month of February teaching my kids how they can better show love in our family and to those around us!

Every year for Valentine’s I put out some cute little mailboxes I got from Target in the Dollar Spot. Once a day starting February 1st I put a little something in each of the kids’ mailboxes, anything from a note telling them something I love about them or a pencil and notepad. It has become one of our favorite traditions, and as I got them out this year I thought maybe we could use them to not only focus on receiving love…but SENDING some love out as well!
