Disneyland Food and Wine Festival
The Disneyland Food and Wine Festival will be held from March 1 – April 23, 2019. It’s hosted in Disney California Adventure park, and this year is the festival’s longest running time yet at the Disneyland Resort. As the festival grows, and has more offerings, you just need more time to fit it all in!
With a packed schedule this year at the Disney Food and Wine Festival, I’ll break down the available events so you can see what would work best for you if you’re traveling to Disneyland this spring.
Disneyland Food and Wine Festival Events – No Reservations Required
There are a handful of experiences at the Food and Wine Festival that do NOT require advance reservations. However, as with all things Disney, these are likely to be super popular! Some of the events at the festival will be listed in the Disneyland Mobile App so you can stay on top of event start times.
Demonstrations
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons you can view chef demonstrations and pick up a few techniques to apply to your next home-cooked meal. It’s like your favorite cooking show, but LIVE at Disneyland! This is available to teens and adults, and no samples will be given.
Kiosks/Marketplaces $14.99 and under per adult
Here in the marketplace you can sample some of California’s greatest local foods, wines and craft beers. The marketplace is open to all ages, and cost of cuisine will vary depending on where you choose to purchase your snacks. You can get a peek at the menu as the March start date of the Disneyland Food and Wine Festival draws closer. Just click HERE.

Seminars
There will be 30-minute seminars from Chef Daniella Malfitano for teens and adults. Chef Malfitano will share how she makes meal time premium family time.
Kids Cooking
For little chefs ages 3-11, Chef Goofy will be leading hands-on cooking in the Hollywood Backlot. There’s no additional cost for this event, and junior chefs will get to sample their creations at the end of the lesson.
Disneyland Food and Wine Festival Events – Reservations Required
These are the events at the Food and Wine Festival that DO require reservations, and most have a higher price tag to participate. However, if cooking is really your jam (pun intended!), then these experiences are well worth it!
Celebrity Chef
Guy Fieri is the scheduled celebrity guest this year, and he’ll be cooking up his signature dishes at the Palisades Stage in Disney’s California Adventure Park. With a love of cooking that stems from childhood, Chef Fieri spent years working toward his dream to study cuisine abroad. Educated first at home and then in Chantilly, France, he rocketed to stardom when he won in the second season of Food Network Star. He has since gone on to write cookbooks, open restaurants and host numerous Emmy-award-winning shows. Guests will not only get to watch as Chef Fieri works his magic, but they’ll also get a sample of the prepared dish.

Dinner with Disney Chefs
At this Disneyland Food and Wine Festival event, guests can meet some of the chefs and sommeliers (which is the French word for wine expert) who create some of our favorite and delicious eats at Disneyland. These presenters are also featured in the Disney Festival Cookbook, which will be available for purchase at the festival while supplies last. This event boasts a four-course dinner inspired by food from around the world. At dinner, guests will have a chance to mingle with other attendees and, of course, converse with the Disney chefs who make the magic happen. This event is $225 per person.
In-Person Demonstrations/Conversations with the Chefs
Celebrity chefs you know from TopChef to MasterChef will be featured in this Disneyland Food and Wine Festival event. The chefs will demonstrate how to create some of their personal masterpieces, and will share some of the secrets to their personal successes. The celebrity chefs will field questions from audience members in this Paradise Gardens Park demonstration, and a brunch buffet will be served. Ticketed guest can also have photos taken with the guest chefs. This event is $110 per person, and the celebrity line up can be found HERE.
Sweet Sundays
A popular event at the Disneyland Food and Wine Festival, Sweet Sundays is a must-do! Celebrity chefs from France to The Food Network will demonstrate how to whip up some of their mouth-watering desserts. Ticketed guests will get to participate in interviews with the chef(s) and enjoy a light brunch buffet at Sweet Sundays. And, added bonus, you’ll get to sample the dessert(s) created in the demonstration! This event is $110 per person.

Winemaker Receptions
Hosted on Buena Vista Street, the Winemaker Receptions are a two-night affair. Guests can register for one of the two nights to enjoy delicious gourmet food and wine pairings. Sommeliers from local California wineries will be on-hand to share their expansive knowledge of their wines.
Mixology Demonstrations and Tastings
These seminars in the Disneyland Food and Wine Festival will be 45 minutes each, and guests can choose from three topics: Wines, craft beers and cocktails. Each seminar will offer tastings, and the cocktail portion will allow for hands-on mixology experiences. Get a feel for how to create a delectable drink from scratch, or how to pair the best foods with your favorite wine or beer.
Disneyland Food and Wine Festival – Merchandise
Food and Wine Festival merchandise can be found at a number of stores in the Disneyland Resort. Merchandise will range from apparel and ornaments to drinkware and more. Look for it at the Studio Store, Festival Gifts (near Ariel’s Undersea Adventures), Festival Merchandise Carts and at Seaside Souvenirs. You’ll also find custom art near Festival Gifts, with the opportunity to see it created right before your eyes. Other Food and Wine Festival merchandise perks are the gift cards! This will allow you to prepay for some of the festival experiences with a Disney Gift Card in the form of a convenient wristband. These can be purchased at Oswald’s, Elias & Co, Trolley Treats, Off the Page, Laod Bhang’s Pin Trader’s Cart and various Festival Merchandise Carts.
Disneyland Food and Wine Festival – Fine Print 😉
One very important thing to note is that Disneyland’s Food and Wine Festival does require guests to have valid admission to Disney California Adventure. For the special events at the Food and Wine Festival, advance registration is strongly encouraged so you can guarantee your spot, and a chance to taste some of these mouth-watering Disneyland treats. And don’t forget a valid photo ID if you plan to participate in any of the beverage tastings! This festival is such a great way to enjoy food and beverages not only from California locales, but also from around the world. You won’t want to miss this!
