These Mickey treats are perfect for upcoming Spring holidays like St. Patrick’s Day or Easter. And they’re fun for the kids to help make with you in the kitchen. See how Adelle copied one of her favorite Disneyland recipes on the blog today!
Hello! It’s Kathy from Beyond the Chicken Coop! Lunch at our house always seems to be frenzied. You would think during the summer or on weekends during the school year that lunch time would be relaxing. In reality, we are often rushing to get lunch on the table and get out the door to our next event. These mini bagel pizzas are a go-to favorite for my family.
Can you believe summer is coming to an end soon? I’m just not ready! ? I’m sharing this super fun ocean JELLO dessert for you today so you can savor the last month of summer a little longer. It’s an adaptation of one of my favorite jello pretzel dessert recipes that I know you and your kids will love!
One of the easiest ways for me to focus on my kids during the holidays is to get them in the kitchen with me, making yummy treats for our friends and neighbors. It’s also more fun for the kids to deliver our goodies if they were involved in the making of the treats.
In our family, we always like to have a festive Halloween dinner. It’s something our mom always did for us and we love to keep the tradition alive with our own kids. On the menu this year (and the past 2 years!) at my house are these yummy mummy pretzel dogs! They come together pretty quickly and the kids always go crazy for them because not only are they fun and spooky, they are equally delicious! Lu and I love to involve our kids in the kitchen, and rolling out the pretzel dough into long “snakes” before wrapping the mummies is the perfect job for little hands.
