The Easiest Santa Fe Chicken Soup (Dump & Go Crockpot Recipe)

Since I’m a busy mama with a preschooler, toddler and now a newborn, I wanted to share with you one of our family’s favorite winter recipes using the greatest kitchen appliance every invented (in my opinion at least) … the slow cooker.

I love the simplicity of throwing all the ingredients in during the morning hours, setting the timer and walking away allowing it to slowly cook a savory and mouthwatering dish to be ready just in time for dinner.

I probably use my slow cooker at least twice a week, even more now that my days just got a lot busier!

One of our family’s favorite winter recipes is this easy slow cooker Santa Fe Chicken Soup recipe. Not only is it packed with flavor but it’s also pretty frugal to make too which is always a plus in my book! I love easy, delicious, crowd pleasing recipes that uses simple ingredients, many of which I usually always have on hand in my pantry, freezer or refrigerator.

Pizza night is a weekly thing at our house. We usually have it on Friday and make it a pizza and movie night and it has been something that the kids always really look forward to and a great way to kick off the weekend. It’s one of my favorite nights to cook because no one whines about pizza–and homemade pizza is much faster and easier than you might think! The BEST Swiss cheese Chicken Dinner

Hi! It’s Jamie from Prepared Housewives, stopping by to share my Favorite Freezer Meal with you!

I’m a part of a freezer meal group in my area, and they’re probably ready to kick me out because I bring this meal to exchange all the time – but it’s just soooo good I can’t help myself. I feel like I’m cheating a little, because it’s almost too easy to make! This week we held our exchange and I made 8 of these meals in less than 30 minutes (yeah, I’m pretty sure that’s cheating)!

Swiss Cheese Chicken is also one of those meals that’s great to take to new moms or picky eaters, because it doesn’t have any of the common “I HATE THESE” ingredients in it – like mushrooms, onions, sour cream, or anything green (the things my kids complain about most).
