Hey there friends! It’s Liz here to share a lovely printable just in time for Mother’s Day. Make sure and download these free printable “My Mother is …” cards to put together a fun gift for mom on Mother’s Day.

Mother’s Day is one of those holidays were I think simple and thoughtful gifts are the best kind. As a mom, all I want to know is that I’m appreciated for the contribution I make to our home and to our family. Arguing over getting homework done, getting attitude about having to help with chores, constantly asking what’s for dinner or not eating what I worked on for an hour are not the highlights of motherhood. The hugs and kisses, the “mommy I love you” moments, the dance parties before bed, those are what makes motherhood so rewarding. Just hearing something nice from the people we love so much is one of the best gifts a mom can get.

I created these hand drawn and hand lettered cards that the kids could color, write on and tell mom just how they feel.

Once I printed and cut out the cards, the kids decided what they wanted to write about me on the cards. I punched a hole in the corner of each card.

I put the cards on a ring with some ribbon and it made for an easy, personal gift that I can’t wait to look back through and love all over again. Especially on those trying days. 🙂
