My girls recently have come to love hashbrowns because they are similar enough to french fries. It was those words that I said that convinced them to try them, “they taste like french fries”. And they haven’t turned back! My 3 year old said last week when we had these, “Mom, I just can’t stop eating these”! It was too cute!
A lighter version of a comfort food classic, this beef stroganoff is delicious on egg noodles or rice!
It’s hard not to love pasta–it’s cheap, quick to prepare, and usually loved gobbled up by our kiddos while keeping complaints to a minimum. We can’t help but share another amazing pasta dish with you. Our sister-in-law, Whitney, recently shared this lemon cream pasta recipe with us and it’s definitely a keeper!
We like to encourage our kids to be adventurous eaters and to try new things, but new things are not always well received, so breakfast is usually a safe and familiar favorite for nights when complaints about dinner are too much to handle. This flavorful and colorful roasted vegetable medley can be made ahead and reheated so you aren’t competing with the turkey and stuffing for oven time right before Thanksgiving dinner. It is also fabulous served at room temperature–so don’t sweat trying to serve it warm.
Hello! So excited to share this delicious 3-ingredient meal with you, Salsa Verde Chicken! It’s meals like this one that save our sanity some nights. This one takes basically no effort other than remembering to throw it in the slow cooker, yet it is so yummy! We have served it both over rice and wrapped it tortillas and loved it both ways!
These jack-o’-lantern stuffed peppers are so easy and would make the most fun dinner for Halloween night or a Halloween party. If you have kids that are old enough, they could even carve a face onto their own pepper! We’re always looking for ways to get our kids involved in the kitchen because they are always more anxious to eat something they helped to create. This is a great recipe to get them involved.
