Lemon-Coconut Quick Bread (she: Cathy)

Hi there, friends! I’m so happy to be back here with you today, sharing this yummy Lemon-Coconut Quick Bread recipe! We love quick breads, especially for breakfast, and this one is just perfect for spring. It’s packed full of zesty lemon and toasted coconut and topped with a citrus honey butter that’s to-die-for. And best of all, my kids can’t get enough of it!
I find that homemade breakfast options usually go over better than packaged, which I guess is a good thing. The only problem is that I never know what be a favorite and what will be a flop! What I do know is that this bread was a FAVORITE! Not only did all three kids like it, they couldn’t get enough of it…..meaning it’s been gone for a while now. And I definitely need to make more of it!

Irish Soda Buttermilk Scones (she: Gina)

Happy March Everyone!!!

It’s Gina from Kleinworth & Co again! I’m back today with St. Patrick’s Day on my mind & ready to share one of my favorite Irish recipes. Do you like St. Patrick’s Day? How do you celebrate? My hubs always loves to have corned beef & cabbage. That’s his specialty. But I like to make a little something too – so I whip up these Irish Soda Buttermilk Scones to go on the side. The nice part about them is that they work well as a side to dinner & the leftovers make a great breakfast when paired with jam. These are so incredibly simple to make. No waiting for them to rise & bake time is only 20 minutes. You can literally whip these together while doing your other dinner prep. For breakfast I just heated the leftovers & spread a little Blueberry Freezer Jam on each bite. The kids loved it.

Simple Corn Bread Muffins with Maple Butter (she: Jana)

These simple Corn Bread Muffins are one of my favorites and they are so quick and easy to throw together, they almost always make an appearance with any soup we have. They have just the right amount of sweetness in them and they’re not dry and crumbly like a lot of corn bread can be. They can be eaten plain, with butter or honey, jam or my favorite…maple butter. They make the perfect addition to your favorite soup. And if you’re planning on having soup or chili for the Super Bowl (Go BRONCOS!!! Yes, I’m a Coloradan and a Manning fan!!!) these would make the game (and soup!) even better. So check them out and add them to your party line up (or maybe just your next dinner).

Bonnie’s 4-Ingredient Soft Pretzels

So, I recently shared a recipe for Broccoli Cheese Soup and I promised that I would share the soft pretzel recipe that was in the picture. Today’s the day. I’ve already bragged about my sister-in-law, Bonnie, who is one of the many that supply me with delicious recipes, but this is another one of hers. (Other Bonnie recipes: Gingerbread Crumb Cake, Favorite Cinnamon Rolls, and Death by Special K) I first had these soft pretzels at a family gathering. She served them with a big pot of soup, and I had to have the recipe… along with everyone else. I love how there are only four ingredients and they’re all things I have on hand. Plus, the kids loved helping out on this one, shaping their own pretzel, painting on melted butter, salting…

Apple Banana Bread (she: Ruthie)

Hi to all my friends at Or so she says… I’m so happy to back again to share another delightful recipe with you.

I love the fall because it’s pretty hard to beat a fresh-off-the-tree apple and of course I find lots of yummy ways to bake them up too!

This recipe has two of my favorite fruits— Apples and Banana’s. I love them both so combining them in a delicious and healthy loaf was a no brainer…

French Boule Rolls ~ ‘No Need to Knead’ Delicious Bread!!

Mmmm…bread.  The ultimate love/hate relationship.  Right now, we’re on good terms.  Maybe it’s the whole ‘Well, I’m nine months pregnant and already super huge’ self talk.   But, it’s working…perhaps a little too good. The minute I saw the recipe for Boule, I was sold.  A bread that is easy to make, requires no kneading, is…
