Each year during the busy travel season, we hear stories firsthand from families who bought Disneyland tickets for what they thought was a great deal, but then find out they were scammed. One of my family’s favorite go-to road trip games is “Would you rather?” It can keep my kids entertained, chatting and laughing for miles and miles. I thought it would be fun to make a Disney version of the game for our Disneyland road trip, and sure enough, it was a hit! Since my family had so much fun, I thought I’d share it with you so you can make your own.
I’m always wanting to make learning fun and interesting so my son will actually get through it without complaining. Since we struggled throughout the school year, I wanted to make sure we practiced during the summer so he doesn’t fall behind once he starts 1st grade next year. Since he does enjoy math, I decided to come up with some printable math worksheets we could do this summer.
Who remembers and loves color by number? Some of my earliest memories as a little girl are of me waking up WAY before my parents were wanting to, and my mom handing me the crayons and coloring books. I still remember my preschool-aged little self sitting in the dimly lit, quiet house coloring while everyone else slept. Funny how things stick with you. I’m still an early-riser, and I still LOVE to color!
This is a fun activity that you can play any time, but because Father’s Day is coming, I thought I’d put a fun spin on it. It’s a game that is typically called “Don’t Eat Pete”, and we love it. It’s a great game for ALL AGES, which is always a huge bonus. For Father’s Day we’ve changed the name to “Don’t Eat Dad”.
