If you’re looking for some March Activity Days ideas, I have some super fun ideas for you! It can be tricky to find an activity that the whole group of girls will love, but any of these ideas will be a crowd-pleaser… I know my two girls in Activity Days would love them! I also included an idea for a spiritual message for each one.
What is Activity Days? In the Mormon church, we have a program for the girls, ages 8 to 11, called Activity Days. They meet on a weekday, after school, with their leaders, and do a fun activity that is often educational, service oriented, and/or spiritual. Sometimes it’s none of those things, and just plain old FUN with friends. Something I really love about the LDS (Mormon) church is that anyone is TOTALLY welcome to come to the services or activities. You don’t have to be a member of the church. So, if your daughter wants to join the other Activity Days girls, they would love to have her. It’s a great way for the girls to become better friends and connect with others in the neighborhood. Just contact pretty much any member of the church, and they can steer you in the right direction, as to who to talk to, and what day/time Activity Days is happening. Oh, and there’s plenty going on for the boys and teenagers too, as well as women and men. We love new friends!
Alright, here we go…
