And, now for Cozumel. This is the 3rd and final post telling you all about our most recent family vacation… a cruise to Roatan, Belize, and Cozumel. We had a ton of fun and it’s always neat to be able to share our experience with you.

Welcome to Part to of our family vacation, also known as The Best Family Cruise Ever! We had a ton of fun and I’m excited to share what we did to maybe give you some ideas for a future vacation.

Today, I’m sharing all about our experience cave tubing in Belize, what you need to know if you go, and a little more about our time on the boat. Tomorrow, I’ll wrap up with Cozumel and my final thoughts!

After nearly a year of planning, we finally knocked-out our 2015 family vacation and it was a BLAST!! I’m convinced we have discovered the best family cruise out there. If my 6 young kids loved it, I’m sure yours will too!

I’ve been anxious to share our pictures and experience with you, along with some tips for cruising with kids. This is our… one, two… um, third cruise with the kids and we plan on many more!

I just recently returned from the most AWESOME cruise. I’ve been so anxious to tell you about it, because I think it should definitely be on your ‘future vacations’ list. We love it so much that actually we’re doing the exact same cruise at the end of the year. The only difference… we’re bringing the kids on the next one. We did so many fun things on the ship and at our ports that I knew my kids would be in heaven. So, there ya go… annual family vacation decided.

Alright, my friends… so, time for part 2 of my Alaskan cruise review!

We finally arrived in Alaska and were scheduled to stop in Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, and Victoria. Our agent at Get Away Today suggested we book our excursions with Shore Trips, as they’re a little cheaper for the same thing that Princess Cruise Line offers.

Have you been to Alaska?? I’m so happy to say that I FINALLY have! Alaska has always been one of those places I’ve longed to go, but had to weigh it against a warm (and cheaper) vacation on the beach. But, after a series of beach vacations, the looming hot Utah summer, and a not-quite-swimsuit-ready body, it was a great time for a change… somewhere I had never been before. So, for our 14 year anniversary (yay!), Dan and I packed our bags and took off on an Alaskan cruise. We just got back last week. It was soooo awesome. I bet you didn’t even know I was gone, right? The OSSS behind-the-scenes team rocks it, I tell ya!

Dan and I try to do a non-kid vacation at least once a year. Sometimes it ends up being less often, but that’s definitely our goal. Thank heavens we have fantastic mothers who are so sweet to take care of our babies, while we’re gone. It’s such a nice break and soooo good for us.
