Friends! Have you ever wanted to try your hand at yoga?? I know I have! In fact, I have a little brother on an LDS mission, who LOVES yoga. Before he left, he made me promise that I would learn yoga and be able to show him a “sweet yoga move” by the time he gets home. Eeeek!
That promise, coupled with the fact that two of my brothers are in film production (they’re amazing) and my blog assistant, Liv, is also a yoga instructor, gave me an AWESOME IDEA! We put our heads together and decided to create a Yoga for Busy Moms online class, right in my own home.

Oh, losing weight… the story of my adult life! With every baby I have (that’s 7!), it gets harder and harder to lose the weight after. It used to be that I could do practically ANY diet, and it would work… low carb, low fat, low calorie, etc. But, as I got older it has seemed like nothing works. I even worked with a personal trainer for two years, made some definite fitness progress, but really struggled when it came to cutting. I tried macros, her bodybuilding diet, and basically everything under the sun, to no avail. Ugh. Soooo annoying.

So, after Knott’s Berry Farms, we took a day off for relaxing, then headed out bright and early for Universal Studios. I had never been there before and couldn’t wait to check it out! Plus, I had heard all about the new Harry Potter World, and I knew my kids would LOVE that.
We tried to pick a day of the week to go, when it wouldn’t be too crowded. I believe we went on a Thursday, during the school year too. We thought we were safe!
So, every year, we like to go on one big family vacation. In the past, we have gone on a Disney Cruise, Royal Caribbean cruise, and to Disneyland. They have all been so amazingly fun and a great way to bond as a family. Whether elaborate or really simple, I’m a huge believer in family…
