So, this recipe for Bacon and Egg Breakfast Muffins actually came from my kiddos. They learned how to make it in their cooking class, and so far it’s been one of our favorite recipes that they’ve come home with! I loved how moist and cornbread-like they were and the southwestern flavor. My kids loved that a whole egg was cooked right in the middle.
And, we’re back for the third installment of our super fun Grocery Store Games series! These games are designed to make grocery shopping with kids a little easier… is it possible?? I think so! My kids are all having lots of fun with these games and I’m seeing lots of pins and shares out there, so that’s awesome. Believe me, with 6 kids, I know what it’s like to have a crazy grocery shopping experience. If these can help me, I know they can help you!
Today’s grocery store game is all about ADJECTIVES…
Yay!! I’m excited to share another game in the Grocery Store Games series, here on ‘Or so she says…’. Last week, I made a fun Color Scavenger Hunt for the kiddos. This week, it’s all about the alphabet. This grocery store game is great for kids, both old and young. My kids think any game is extra fun if there is a prize at the end (maybe a treat in the check-out line?!) But, I’m pretty sure they would be anxious to play, prize or no prize.
With all of the uplifting and inspirational posts on the blog, I thought today it would be fun to put together a list of 10 favorites. I love grocery stores that are stressed-out-mom friendly. One of our local stores has free snacks and balloons for kids. The employees are so sweet to offer them to moms. I love the service where you pay for your groceries, then pull your car up to their door, and they load them all into the back of the car for you. I applaud stores like that! But, it’s always good to have a plan of your own… fruit snacks in your purse, an iPhone with family pictures on it, little trinkets that they can play with, whatever. That’s why I thought it would be fun to start offering Grocery Store Games on the blog!

And, now for Cozumel. This is the 3rd and final post telling you all about our most recent family vacation… a cruise to Roatan, Belize, and Cozumel. We had a ton of fun and it’s always neat to be able to share our experience with you.
