Let’s get right to the point. You want to make this. I promise. It it seriously the BEST avocado appetizer for a crowd … and, it’s even better if you make it with pita chips. Yum!! So, so, so good. I don’t think I’ve brought this recipe anywhere without several people asking for the recipe. Definitely a crowd-pleaser.

The BEST Avocado Appetizer for a Crowd
Everything You Need for a Healthy Avocado Dip Recipe:
- Tomato
- 2 Avocado
- 1 garlic clove
- Oregano
- Olive Oil
- White Wine Vinegar
- Feta Cheese
- Optional: Red Onion
And, let’s go over these pita chips. You can definitely use store bought pita chips or tortilla chips. But, if you have a minute, I would DEFINITELY recommend making the homemade pita chips! They’re so delicious and make the presentation just that more impressive.
What You Need to Make Homemade Pita Chips:
- Pita Bread
- Grated Parmesan
- Butter
- Italian Seasoning

Avocado Feta Dip with Pita Chips

Avocado Feta Dip
Ingredients
- 1 chopped tomatoes
- 2 chopped avocados
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 TBS fresh chopped oregano
- 1 TBS olive oil
- 1 TBS white wine vinegar
- 6 oz. crumbled feta cheese
Instructions

In a bowl, stir together the chopped tomato, avocados, garlic, and oregano (and 1/4 cup red onion, if you like).

Gently stir in olive oil and white wine vinegar.

Stir in feta.

Chill for at least a couple hours.
Italian Pita Chips
Homemade Pita Chips
Ingredients
- Pita Bread
- Melted Butter
- Grated Parmesan
- Italian Seasoning
Instructions

Use a pizza cutter to cut the pitas into triangles.

Separate and place triangles on sheet pan.

Brush each triangle with melted butter.

Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and Italian Seasoning

Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes.

i haven’t tried the store bought pita chips…but, my in-laws were just over eating that dip and pita chips and they were saying they liked them better than the store ones because they weren’t so hard. So, that’s all I know. They were super easy though, and I think way yummy. Worth making.
This salsa was so good! I’m glad I got to try it in person even if we weren’t in town for the Superbowl Party. I hope you all had fun though!
