This Fourth of July bunting is the adorable and such a perfect project for soooo many things! If you have a patriotic party to decorate for, if your kids are bored and need a little summer project, this is it. And, the best thing is… it’s free!
Just today, my boys were telling me that they wanted to go to the craft store and see if they could find ‘something to do.’ Then I remembered, I have this Fourth of July bunting! So, that’s what we’re doing at my house… coloring flags, cutting them out, gluing them around a string, and decorating our home for the Fourth of July. In fact, I have three kids that want to make one, so we’re going to just make and extra long one. So fun!

This Fourth of July word search would be fun to have a set out on the kids’ table of your holiday BBQ. If your church is having a neighborhood party, print off a stack there. You could even play a game to see who can find all of their words the fastest. The first person to complete the word search wins! And, like the bunting, this printable is totally free to print and use.
For several years in a row, a few years back, my kids and I ran a booth at our local Fourth of July fair, selling all sorts of fun things. It was a neat way to help the kids earn money and teach them a few life lessons. One of the items we made and sold were these marshmallow guns. We made hundreds of them and sold them with a snack size bag of mini marshmallows. It’s such a fun memory that we have!! Anyway, these marshmallow guns are perfect for a big marshmallow war with friends and family. Either make them together, or have them pre-made to hand out for an instant blast. Young kids and adults both love these! How to Make Marshmallow Guns
And, finally… how about something that screams classic ‘summer’ and at the same time is super simple, yet totally gourmet. Sounds about perfect, right? These patriotic popsicles are definitely a crowd-pleaser that would be fun to pass out at any Fourth of July get-together. Oh, and if you’re looking for some music that’s absolutely perfect for the occasion, here’s an awesome patriotic playlist. 🙂
Have a wonderful holiday!
