Love this giveaway, definitely looking for a vacation before the hubby has to be gone again for the work. Our time would be filled with which the warm weather, the beach, lots of pictures, and either lots of roller coasters for the hubby or maybe some swimming with the dolphins at sea world. Truthfully, I would LOVE to go to Disneyland again with my family, but my sister deserves it more. She’s a single mother, struggling through a horrible divorce from an abusive, drug-addicted spouse with no child support and not enough income to support herself. I can state all the idyllic dreams of the perfect family here, but she doesn’t have that dream anymore. My perfect vacation looks like this: my sister gets a chance to take her two adorable boys, 3 and 18 months, to Disneyland. She doesn’t have to worry about money for 5 days. She can use the $500 to buy diapers and food – items she cannot always afford right now. She can create memories for her boys that take her and them out of her stressful, tense, bitter reality for a few days and remind her of why she is fighting so hard to remove them all from an abusive situation. She can breathe for once, and bring us back the memories on her new camera. My dream is for her and for her boys.
I was just pricing how much it would cost our family of 5 to visit Disneyland, and then lamenting that it would cost so much! What great timing we have! 🙂 We would definitely visit Disneyland (we have 3 kids, my husband has never been to the park, and I have only gone once- almost twenty years ago when I was in high school). We would also have to spend some time on the beach, and maybe try to also visit Universal Studios (if only for the Jurassic Park ride!), and hopefully Sea World. We had never had a vacation until 2008….then I got cancer in 2009…thought I was cured and then it came back in 2011 and I was told I was terminal even with chemo, the doc gave me 9 months to live w/o treatment and maybe and extra 4 with. I opted for the treatment and when chemo was over in May 2012 we took what I thought might be our last vacation together to Cali. I loved being by the beach and watching the kids play and actually get along together even though I was bald and felt out of place. It was also a great opportunity to reconnect with some family members. I am still here and up for another PET scan (right before xmas again) $$ is super tight so it would be great to have another Cali adventure…hopefully with hair this time) before my 17 yr old son heads to boot camp after graduation. He and my 9 yr old daughter have a hard time getting along…mostly due to age difference, but while we were at the beach you could not tell that they were never anything but best buds!

Oh gosh, this vacation would be incredible! We have never been able to take our kids on a vacation further than the Cabin in Island Park. I would need to put a GoPro on my head to capture this amazing. Been dreaming of DisneyLand vacation with kids for years!

I would love to go to Disneyland again. I took my boyfriend to Disneyland and California Adventures for his first time ever last year. He absolutely loved it. It was awesome seeing him experience Disneyland for the first time and fun watching him find his Disney Side. One of his favorite movies is Cars and it was nice to see my boyfriend walk into Carsland amazed by everything he saw. He just looked like a big kid. It was so much fun and a memory we’ll never forget. Hopefully we’ll be able to go back soon and make more memories. 🙂

My son just turned 8 and doesn’t remember the beach (we went when he had just started walking) and has never been to Disneyland. I would love to take a family trip and spend a day at Disneyland, a day at California Adventure and a day at Sea World. Throw in a little time with my toes in the sand and I would be in heaven.

It looks like my 25th anniversary celebration! We would be so thrilled!
Oh my! I know EXACTLY what our *DREAM* vacation would look like because I’ve been trying to plan one for the past 5 years! (2 job lay offs, car expenses, medical issues and other boring stuff have kept us from going anywhere). So here it is-I have it memorized:
We would fly into Orange County, take the Disneyland Resort Shuttle to the DIsneyland Hotel. Stay there for 3 nights, and purchase a 4 Day Hopper Pass. We would buy an autographed book for our son and hit every character photo op we could manage. We would use the camera to take still and video throughout our stay (I can toss the disposable one in the TRASH). We would buy hats and have our names embroidered on them, get the Mickey Mouse Waffle, Churro, Dole Whip, Corn Dog, and eat at the Blue Bayou. We would stay up late and watch every parade and show we could get to and then pinch ourselves repeatedly to make sure that we weren’t dreaming. Our son has been patient through the years waiting for the day we actually take him there…bless hi heart. He is now 7…this would an AMAZING Christmas gift from SANTA-because he knows that mom and dad could never do this…at least right now. CROSSING MY FINGERS!!!!!
Our favorite hotel in Anaheim is Holiday Inn. We always use GAT. I usually make the hubs take the family to the beach after our days at Disney for a little decompression. This would be an awesome Christmas gift.
