About the only time I think much about my bathroom and what’s in it is when I have to clean it. But what if the bath toys, wall hangings, perfume bottles, wall paper, etc. could talk? What graphic stories would they have to tell?!? Our recent trip to Mexico alone provided weeks of horror for my bathroom items!
Quilted Northern recently launched a hilarious series of TV spots that highlight the unpleasant experiences that bathroom objects may have while witnessing our bathroom visits. The #HelpMeForget video series was directed by Academy Award Nominee and Director, Bennett Miller. And far from being gross or inappropriate, the TV spots are extremely entertaining. I caught myself giggling more than once. Put a smile on your face by watching all six of the Designed to be Forgotten videos!
The entertaining Quilted Northern spots got me thinking about the objects in my bathroom. The one that came to mind is my own pampered spa goddess. She has traveled with me from duplex to duplex and from house to house. In our most recent move, she transitioned from our master bathroom to a small half bath. Despite the downsizing of bathrooms, her view has never changed. She always has, and still does, hang right above the toilet with a front row seat to what happens there. Fortunately, she’s demurely turned away, but that doesn’t protect her from the many bathroom sounds and aromas. Probably not the life my little goddess dreamed of – haha.
Fortunately, most of our bathroom experiences are completely forgettable, at least for us. That’s in large part due to the fact that Quilted Northern has worked for more than 100 years perfecting toilet paper, from removing splinters from the paper making process to creating the first 3-ply luxury bath tissue. Encountering a splinter in my bath tissue would definitely be a memorable experience, which is not the goal! I much prefer the bathroom experiences that I CAN forget!
