The Ultimate Fridge Cleaning Hacks for the Kitchen

I don’t give much thought to my refrigerator, unless of course it has some unpleasant odor coming from it (which fortunately isn’t often). And I’ve certainly never used the word “cute” in conjunction with my fridge. But all of that has changed thanks to my new Fridge Coasters. Even better than being cute, Fridge Coasters are extremely functional! They are super absorbent “liners” that come in different sizes to fit all high traffic areas in your fridge. They can easily be wiped down, and are dry to the touch within minutes.

The Best Stocking Stuffers All in One Place

When I was a kid, a stuffed stocking was like the icing on the Christmas cake! I loved rushing over to my stocking after all the presents were opened to see what final surprises were hiding in there. Now that I’m a mom, I love finding just the right items to fill my family’s stockings, but I don’t always have the time to shop around. The solution this year came as kind of a surprise. While I was in Payless shoe shopping with my girls, it dawned on me what a perfect store it was to get the stocking stuffers I needed for everyone on my list.

Family shoe traditions - www.orsoshesays.com #shoes #family #traditions #shoetraditions #christmastraditions #birthday #birthdaytraditions

I love a good tradition, especially ones that are unique to our family. Over the years, we’ve adapted a few traditions to fit our family. And funny enough, they all involve shoes!

Tradition #1: Saint Nicholas Shoe Gifts

I spent 18 months in the Netherlands as a missionary for my church, and I learned to love so many things about the Dutch people and their traditions!

Father-Son Star Wars Date

My husband and I try really hard to regularly spend one-on-one time with each of our four children. However, life gets crazy busy sometimes, so we’ve found it’s important to schedule monthly date nights with our kids. With the upcoming release of the new Star Wars movie, this month’s date night is a no-brainer!

I like Star Wars, but my husband REALLY likes Star Wars! He can’t bear the thought of his oldest son not being an avid Star Wars fan too.

How to Prevent Hungry-Kid Car Meltdowns

I spent the first seven years of parenthood in a small town where everything was at least 30 minutes away. It sometimes felt like we lived in our car. I learned very quickly to have snacks on hand when hunger pains struck. My second oldest can go from fine to starving in 60 seconds flat, […]

We’ve spent his […]

5 Diaper Changing Hacks Every Mother Should Know

Diaper Hacks Every Mother Should Know ~ www.orsoshesays.com

My fourth baby just turned two months old, which means he’s babbling and smiling all over himself … especially when he manages to get his poop out! The faces that he makes when he’s working on a poop are hilarious.

THOSE faces used to stress me out with my first baby, but with my fourth I realize it’s just what babies do. And pooping is serious business for them! It’s one of a baby’s three main purposes in life, aside from eating and sleeping.

How to Survive Cough and Cold Season

SayAhh for Sore Throats

It’s coming … the dreaded cough and cold season. All those cute kids head back to school and share their not-so-cute germs with each other. It’s inevitable that someone at my house will end up sick, so I try hard to be prepared before the fevers, coughs and sore throats that appear (usually during the wee […]
