My Husband’s Favorite Things (she: Kelsey)

Here’s my guy with me & our little man:

My hubby is definitely the best guy I could have asked to be married to.  He’s super sweet, has amazing hobbit-esque curly hair & is an amazing singer!  One of my favorite gifts he’s ever given me was singing ‘our’ song to me after I graduated from college.

We’ve been married for three years (as of this week!) and we’ve definitely learned a ton from each other & I’m so glad I have him in my life to learn from, lean on & love!!

He’s a self-proclaimed geek and that’s fine for me ’cause I’m kind of a geek too 🙂  He loves to read, cook & dress up for date night which completely rocks my world.  He’s also the best daddy in the world so you should definitely be jealous!  Him and little man love going fishing, playing games and looking for bugs.  All those things that only daddies do best!!

His ‘favorite’ things definitely cover a broad range and it was fun getting to interview him to see what he would come up with.  I hope some of his favorite things can help give you some gift ideas for your man too!!

Mychal is crazy obsessed with the Game of Thrones series by George Martin.  He’s recently gotten me hooked on them too but they’re definitely written for the men!  Plus there’s an awesome TV series out on them now too.  There’s seven books total in the series but this first one you can get cheap at about 10$.

He swears by this Caphalon Katana knife & won’t cook without it.  We got ours as a wedding gift but you can get a nice one for about 70$.

I told you he was a bit of a self-proclaimed geek.  Rather than an X-box, he’d rather be playing computer video games.  He says his “awesome gaming keyboard” is the best ever and he wouldn’t play without it.  You’ll have to take his word for it, because the only difference I see from my plain one is crazy orange lights and a tiny digital screen 🙂  But your gaming hubby will definitely know the difference. Every guy needs some cool tools, right?  Hubby says these guys are the ticket.  They’re a wrench on one end and ratchet on the other & apparently they’re awesome. (40$)

I told you Mychal loves to sing & he’s an amazing guitar player.  So of course he had  guitar strings at the top of his ‘favorite things’ list. (8$)  And they’re definitely an easy & cheap gift to give!!

He just recently got a new car and is dying to get a batman license plate for it. (10$)  I honestly think men are just big kids still 🙂  But this silver & black would definitely look nice on his shiny new car.

This one is not just awesome for the guy…but for their girl too!!  Mychal is obsessed with smelling good which is just fine with me!  His go-to body spray is always Old Spice & swagger is one of his faves. (4$)
