Hello everyone! It’s Jana from Double the Deliciousness here to bring you a fabulous recipe for spring!
When it starts warming up and the days start getting longer I only want to eat sandwiches and salads (much to the dismay of my meat & potatoes kind of family). And this, my friends, is one of my favorite go-to salads. My friend told me about this wonderful pear and pecan spring salad. She proceeded to tell me all the ingredients in it and I wasn’t too excited about it, but then she made it…and I tried it… and I was hooked! The sweet and savory of this salad blends perfectly with poppyseed and vinaigrette dressings! Even my kids enjoy it, and that’s saying a lot for a salad! (although 2 of them do pick out the cranberries.:))
So, do me a solid and try this one…don’t judge it before you know it or you’ll be missing out!
After the recipe card, check out how easy it is to put this salad together!

This looks so perfect for the weather we’ve been having in UT right now. And I LOVE the mandarin orange chicken pasta salad you linked to. I remember getting something like that YEARS ago from a fast-food chain in my college days and I loved it so much.
