Printable Reading Log (she: Liz)

First grade is such an important year in school. My son did start learning to read in kindergarten, but struggled. This year I am really focused on keeping him on track with his reading. The school encourages 20 minutes of reading every night. 20 minutes is a lot for a first grader, but I do think it’s important to encourage him to read each night and I thought he would be more excited about it if we kept track on this printable reading log.

July 2015 Visiting Teaching Message Printable (she: Kiki)

First of all, let me explain visiting teaching. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we are in a congregation where we are asked to go and visit certain ladies each month to really get to know them, share a quick message and find out if they have any needs that need to be met. It’s one of the ways we build friendships and help our leaders know any needs that families have.

Chase Happy – Tips for Overcoming a Tough Time (she: Becky)

Choose Happy! Choose Joy! We’ve all seen the cute signs and printables and quotes all over the internet. It’s great 2-second inspiration for the day, a great reminder that we are in charge of our own happiness, so make the most of it! After all, men are that they might have joy, right? We are supposed to be happy in this life!

Printable Math Worksheets (she: Liz)

I’m always wanting to make learning fun and interesting so my son will actually get through it without complaining. Since we struggled throughout the school year, I wanted to make sure we practiced during the summer so he doesn’t fall behind once he starts 1st grade next year. Since he does enjoy math, I decided to come up with some printable math worksheets we could do this summer.

June 2015 Visiting Teaching Message (she: Kiki)

Let me explain visiting teaching. (There would be too many for them to visit them all!) So why do I love printables + visiting teaching? I LOVE putting to paper thoughts and quotes that inspire and uplift me, my family and those around me and visiting teaching has been such a blessing in my life.

Inspirational Printable – A Quote From Duke Fergerson (she: Sharon)

This is Sharon again from Lemon Squeezy, and this month I water-colored a quote that I love. Duke Fergerson is a retired professional football player and said this during an interview back in 1988, which was originally advice from his mother. I’m going to put this inspirational quote up where my kids will see it a lot and hopefully it will be something they always remember.

S’Mores Caddy {With Printable Label} (she: Brooke)

I always want to make summer vacation a fun, memorable time for my boys, and that usually means I have to start thinking about it NOW! Not to say I sit down and plan every minute of every day during their break, but I do like to have a few things set and organized just to make the three months run a bit more smoothly, and be as enjoyable as possible. Organizing our treats in this S’Mores caddy is one little thing I can do to make my life easier.

Desktop Wallpaper Download (she: Sharon)

Hi! It’s Sharon from Lemon Squeezy again, and this month I have a free desktop wallpaper download. I love clutter-free and simple computer wallpapers (it helps me see all the files and folders in a more organized fashion), and I love mid-century modern. There’s nothing better than having a fresh desktop staring back at you, especially when your email inbox is the exact opposite.

The Best Journey Takes You Home {Printable} (she: Brooke)

I don’t know about you, but I’m a bit of a home body. Going home after a vacation, going home for the holidays, going home after a long day at school or work. I have yet to find anything that replaces that special, familiar, comforting feeling of returning home. I want my boys to have that same feeling. I cannot wait to see what life has in store for each of them. I know they’ll go out into the world, have many experiences and adventures. But as a mother, I want nothing more than to create an atmosphere in my home that invites them to return again and again.

I have met so many incredible women who have blessed my life through both visiting teaching and being taught as well! I love the thought of leaving a little thought for them to hang up and think about throughout the month.
