I’ve tried “Laundry Day.” I’ve tried breaking it all into 3 days, having a Washing Day, a Folding Day, and a Putting-Away Day. I have a hard time sticking to any of this! What happens when children get sick, or there school events that must be attended? Laundry falls by the way side. That’s what! So I have some hacks for you that have made tackling my laundry a lot easier. I hope it helps you, too!
Cleaning & Organization
As a mama of three crazy busy little men (6, 4, 1), I totally know the joys of encouraging littles to pick up their toys. I’m really just trying to figure it out as much as the next mom. Here is what been working for me so far, hope it can inspire hope and ideas in your own clean up adventures with little peeps.
Christmas is over, the new year has begun, and if your house is anything like mine, the sugar and toys have taken over. Time for a few post-holiday activities to get you and the kiddos back on track, while still having fun of course. Check out these 4 post Christmas activities to help start your new year off right:
Let’s talk about ways to use Norwex Cleaning Paste. Basically, it can do anything. I mean, it can remove PERMANANT marker! How freakin’ sweet is that?! I love using my cleaning paste for cleaning my glass-top stove and for whitening grimy grout in my bathroom. It really is so versatile. And it’s environmentally friendly! Check out these ingredients: marble-flour, natural soap, and coconut oil. Safe and simple ingredients that get the job done!
I’ve put together some fun ways that you can recreate some back to school magic at home to remind you of your favorite Disneyland vacations. Whether you call it a using a spoon full of sugar, or a adding a little bit of pixie dust, you can make everyday moments more fun with a little bit of imagination! Why not live life with a cherry on top all of the time?
Hey everyone! It’s Mariah here again to show you some more great Norwex products! I love my Norwex Kitchen Cloth for so many reasons. I used to have to clean my counters with powerful chemicals just to get the stains and sticky mess off, but now I only need WATER!
Thank heavens Norwex came into my life because their EnviroCloth works wonders on my mircofiber couch. It removes stains effortlessly with just a little bit of water. And, unlike my regular cleaning rag, when the water dries, the stain is ACTUALLY gone. Check it out!
So, now that we’ve established that the Norwex EnviroCloth is freakin amazing (see The Best Cleaning Cloths in the World)… what’s cool is that Norwex makes the EnviroCloth in mini size, a.k.a. the Travel Cloth. I was just recently involved in a fun group thread where everyone was sharing their most favorite ways to use…
I don’t know about you, but I’m a little emotionally allergic to cleaning. I hate it, it’s not something that is fun for me but unfortunately it’s something that has to be done. The irony is not lost on me with my blog being named Creative Home Keeper that I don’t enjoy cleaning but that’s where the creative part comes in!
There will always be tasks, responsibilities, chores and jobs we don’t enjoy doing BUT there are ways to make it more enjoyable doing. Today I want to share with you my top 4 ways to make cleaning more enjoyable.
I always want to make summer vacation a fun, memorable time for my boys, and that usually means I have to start thinking about it NOW! Not to say I sit down and plan every minute of every day during their break, but I do like to have a few things set and organized just to make the three months run a bit more smoothly, and be as enjoyable as possible. Organizing our treats in this S’Mores caddy is one little thing I can do to make my life easier.
How do I backup my photos? How should I organize them? Where should I print my pictures? What should I do with all my digital photos?
Although digital photos have made it possible for anyone, anywhere to document their life stories through photos (which is amazing), it has also created a problem where we have SO many photos and no idea how to manage them or display them in a meaningful way. I initiated a Picture Display Movement (because sometimes I give myself authority to start my own movements) hoping to inspire others to do something with their photos. And I wanted to take some of the ideas from there to give you a quick-and-dirty guide on what to do and where to start with all your photos after you take them. I present to you, what to do with all your digital photos:
Hello friends! It’s Liz from Liz on Call again. Are most of you fighting the crazy snow storms still? Here in AZ we have been enjoying spring weather for the last month. It’s been nice to open up the doors and windows to let some fresh air into the house. It also makes me feel like getting a start on a little spring cleaning. We get a LOT of dust here in the desert. And dusting makes my allergies go crazy! One of the things I tend to neglect when it comes to cleaning, is all the fake plants or greenery I have in my house. My mom shared this awesome trick on how to easily clean fake plants with me and I’m excited to share it with you.
