Valentine’s Day will be here soon, and although it’s a day that is supposed to be filled with love, it’s a day that can easily turn into a lonely time for lots of people in our world. We might be able to help this just by doing a few random acts of kindness throughout the day! Are you up for the challenge?
This list is just a starting point…. you don’t have to do all or any of these things, any kindness you share will still create a ripple effect and hopefully make others feel loved.
1. SMILE! at every one you pass today! {Some people will think you are nuts… but that’s okay 😉 }
2. Shop locally or online for items that give back to a great cause.
This mug is making a huge difference in the lives of women in Nashville, TN, check out Thistle Farms to find out more.
3. Give the drive thru teller at the bank a sweet treat.
4. Clean out your closet and donate any clothes you don’t need anymore…. and ask your kiddos to do the same with their toys.
5. Post uplifting notes all around town…. on the gas pump, on the grocery store cart, or the changing room. You can use these printables to get you started {just right click to save them and print on card stock paper}.
6. Send a “spa” basket to your kid’s teacher.
7. Drop by the hospital and bring in new magazines to the waiting rooms.
8. While you are at the hospital, tape money on the vending machines with a nice note.
9. Buy a coffee for the car behind you in the drive thru…. or buy a gift card and leave it with the cashier to buy the next few cars a coffee.
10. Package care bags for homeless… you can include a bottle of water, snacks, first aid kit, stamps, paper/envelopes, a pen, and a clean pair of socks {the most commonly asked for item} in a gallon sized ziplock bag.
11. Send a gift card anonymously to a single mom.
12. Make a Valentine card for your mailman.
13. Visit with a senior citizen. Take time to listen to their stories and ask questions… the gift of our time is more precious than we realize.
14. Put quarters in all of the candy and prize machines at the grocery store. {stand back and just wait for a kid to come along and listen to how excited they get! It’s priceless!}
So, there you are… 14 ways to spread a little love this Valentine’s Day! Small ways to share big love, I hope you feel loved in the process too!

I love this and just wanted to let you know there is a small selling mistake. The letter P is missing in the word SPREAD. No big deal but just thought you might like to know.
