Our Printable Primary Talks about Service are so helpful and easy to use.
Has your child been asked to give a talk in Primary? Speaking in primary is a fun and educational opportunity for children. It gives them a chance to build confidence and strengthen their own testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is great practice for speaking in public too!
Keeping it real though, sometimes, life gets busy! Am I right? If you find yourself in the mist of a crazy week, or, if you remember at the last minute that it is your week for a talk, then these printable primary talks about service are for you! Simply download the template that fits your child best and let them fill in the missing sections. This fill in the blank format allows your child to feel some ownership and makes things personal.
This should help take any stress out of the process of speaking in church! Too bad we don’t have templates for Sacrament meeting too. Although, I don’t think even a downloadable talk would take the stress away from that assignment. Sorry.
The general Primary Theme for the month of September is service. I love how kids are natural at giving service. They have such pure and genuine promptings to help. Sharing and giving love is something that even the smallest child can understand. It is a perfect topic for primary school. Enjoy!
Jesus Christ taught us how to serve others.
The first theme for the month of September is Jesus Christ. Jesus was the perfect example. He did not just teach us what to do with words, he showed by example. Christ fed the multitudes, he raised the dead, he blessed the sick, he washed the disciples feet. Because our Savior served, we have the perfect example to follow.
Prophets and Apostles show us how to serve.
We live in a time where prophets and apostles are on the Earth. They lead the church. These wonderful men dedicate their time to sharing the gospel with the world and serving the members of the church. We can follow their example by being God’s helping hands on Earth!
When I serve others, I serve God.
God taught us in the scriptures that when we are in the service of our fellow beings we are in the service of God. When children understand their their hands are God’s hands on Earth, it helps them to feel important. When we love each other, our love for God grows.
These talks about service teach important gospel truths. I hope your children enjoy reading and presenting them in primary classes around the world. Make sure to check back each month for new talks!
