So, last week on the ‘Or so she says…’ Facebook page, I mentioned that I had only been to Trader Joe’s grocery store one time.  The time I went, I felt so overwhelmed by all the unique products, that I just wished someone would tell me everything that I must try. It’s a good 45 minutes from my house, so it’s not like I can go very often, so I want to get the good stuff while I have the chance!

Lucky for me, the Facebook page was swarming with ladies who are Trader Joe’s junkies.  They shared hundreds of their most favorite products with me!  Soon enough, they started asking for an official list of all the products that were shared, so they could remember to buy the things they hadn’t tried yet, but were suggested.  I promised I would get that together.

And, that’s what THIS is, my friends.  The official grocery list from our Facebook Trader Joe’s pow-wow.  I took all the suggestions and found the items that were recommended by the MOST people.  Those items made it to the ‘Top Picks’ category on the left.  The items that weren’t suggested as often, but were absolute favorites of individual ladies are shared on the right, under ‘Recommended.’

So, download it, print it off, and have fun shopping at Trader Joe’s!  I know I’ll be heading there with the list next week. Can’t wait!  Oh, and be sure to share this with your friends. 🙂

By the way, this post is not sponsored by Trader Joe’s.  It’s just me and some Facebook fans who were wanting a great shopping list.  In fact, they’re not very blogger friendly at all.  I am not endorsing Trader Joe’s as a healthy alternative to any other grocery store, or anything else.

Signing off!

YES!! I have never been, and I’m so excited that when I do go, I won’t feel so overwhelmed.

This is awesome. Now… how much money do I have to save to go there. How are the prices?

So, I’ve only been once and it was in a hurry, so I don’t remember the prices. But, I don’t think they were crazy. In fact, I know a lot of people were saying the fresh flowers are a great price, so maybe other things aren’t too bad?? Maybe someone else will chime in. 🙂

I just went, and was impressed with their prices. Almond milk is 2.99, which is what I pay at WinCo and Smith’s. Chicken sausage is 3.99, which is again comparable. And the Joe Joe’s are 2.99

Their prices are very reasonable. Mostly because most of the stuff is their brand, so that keeps costs down. So fresh, mostly organic products. So much variety, it’s shocking in those little stores how much different stuff there is.

That’s true. I really was surprised at how big the selection was!

One of the biggest benefits of our move was that it brought me within two miles of a Trader Joes! I have a neighbor who feeds her family of seven almost exclusively from there. I definitely have my favorite items, and they’re favorite because they’re inexpensive. Some of their bagged fruit is way cheaper than other stores. I love their bagged brown rice and their milk is the cheapest in town. I also love their sourdough bread that uses a true sourdough starter – much healthier. The prices overall are very reasonable, but their portions are meant for two. So it can add up when shopping for a family. Anyway, I love Trader Joes, and I appreciate this list! I’m still discovering my favorites there.

If cookie butter is the same thing as speculaa then this list is accurate. If not then you need to add it to the list! Along with their amazing blackberry jam.

      Thanks for the suggestion, Laurie!

Great list and I could add so many more. I do 95% of my grocery shopping there and get paralyzed at “regular” stores now. Too many choices. TJ’s is just right.

I need to go more often! Thanks for stopping by, Kristin!

Yay! You got it ready! Thanks for your work on this! As far as prices go, some things are “grocery boutique” prices, but MOST things are VERY reasonable and in line with other stores. I didn’t mention them in my FB suggestions, and I don’t see them on the list, but their cereals are very good and good prices. We especially love the “clusters” granola type cereals. 🙂

Awesome! Thanks for all of your suggestions! Glad you like the list. 🙂
