Want to hear a story about the best cleaning cloths in the world? Okay. Once upon a time, I was invited to a Norwex party at a friend’s house. I hadn’t heard of Norwex before and didn’t know if it was worth my time, so I told my friend that I would just buy something from her party online. I went on their site, picked out a couple cleaning cloths (or EnviroCloths) and called it good. I didn’t know ANYTHING about them, just rumors that they were basically magical.

My EnviroCloths arrived and I was instantly hooked! They did such a great job of cleaning! When I wiped my counters, there were no crumbs left behind, grease smears, or anything. It was awesome. I knew they were microfiber, like other microfiber cleaning cloths I had, but why did they work SOOO much better than those?? I didn’t know. All I knew is that every time I washed it, I was bummed that I had to temporarily use my other crappy kitchen cloths, until my Norwex one was clean.

Norwex Cleaning Cloths (EnviroCloth) Before and After Pictures
This before and after picture is just from ONE wipe-across with a Norwex EnviroCloth, ONLY using water. It got the grimy finger and grease marks off, without spreading them around, and without leaving water streaks all over my microwave.
But, then it gets better. Embedded IN the cloths is an anti-bacterial silver agent that inhibits the growth of bacteria and purifies the cloth. That’s why it doesn’t stink! …IF you take care of it properly. When you’re done using your cloth, you simply rinse and rub it in hot water (you can use a drip of dish soap, if you want), squeeze it out, and lay it out to dry. As it dries, the silver will go to battle with the bacteria and you’ll be left with a fresh cloth, ready to use. You can launder your cloths maybe once a week, and start all over. (Even MORE specific, regarding care: do not wash them with fabric softener or bleach. Use an environmentally friendly detergent and dry with lint free items.) It’s amazing, my friends. I was kicking myself for not realizing the goodness of these cloths earlier. I had been bleaching and using fabric softener with my cloths that I had purchased from the first party, all things I shouldn’t have done. They still work great, but not like they did before and I’m sure I deadened the effect of the silver.
So, after watching several informative YouTube videos, preparing for my purchase, I pretty much wanted one of everything. And, this time I was going to take care of my cloths like the gems they are.

Oh my goodness…I love Norwex!! I got invited to a party a while back and got the cleaning cloth, glass cloth and the mitt and was in love!!! I won a face cleaning cloth at the party and have used everyday since! No more face cleaners for me and I look amazing just using water! My house is cleaner and I’m much happier not buying cleaning products. Can’t wait to get a mop! I’m totally buying one from you!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE these cloths! We have actually used them for 4 years in our home. They really do blow you away! I can seriously clean my half bathroom in just 2.5 minutes, I never buy paper towels to clean anymore (I use the window/polish cloth instead) or the other cleaners I used to and love saving the money. Not to mention how stinkin shiny clean all your windows, mirrors etc are! I also love knowing that we have gotten rid of all the chemicals in our home. I was shocked to learn that most are directly related to lots of diseases including cancer! I was able to throw out the Clorox wipes and just use the Enviro cloth, my kids even take a small Enviro to school and use that instead of the wipes. (the chemical absorbs right into your skin) Kids can be way more involved with cleaning when they are using just cloth and water! I love it all!

I usually hate those party deals but Holy Cow! I love Norwex stuff! I got a face cleaning cloth and it’s so dang amazing! Seriously! AMAZING! I was instantly a huge fan. I want everything they have!
Have you used the laundry stuff…how does that work? I have been curious about it.
A gal answered this on FB, hope it helps! ‘ I have the detergent! Its fab! It’s free of all sorts of things like phosphates, fillers, bad chemicals etc. I only have to use 1 tsp in my HE machine and you need just 1 TBL for the regular machines. great on the clothes and price per load its a great deal – lasts a really long time. The thing I really love about it is that you can take your Norwex Enviro cleaning cloths and soak them in a bowl with the hot water and a 1-2 TBL of the Laundry detergent and it seriously just pulls all kinds of stuff out of the cloths, my water was brown and soupy. Its like a deep clean on them.I love love all my Norwex. My kids do too!’
How about grease/oil stains and grimy other stuff? Does that wash out of the cloths easy enough or will it stain them as well? I have an issue with my husband and son using kitchen dishcloths for everything under the sun and I can’t tell you how gross they get.
My husband does the same thing! He’ll take my kitchen hand towels to rub his truck tires and my expensive kitchen knifes to cut his compressor hoses and junk in the garage. Makes me crazy! So, I had to have a special talk with him about my Norwex rags and to keep his grubby hands off them. 🙂 Once he realized the real purpose of the and we don’t care about the germs on his wheels, he agreed to let them be. Luckily the tag says Norwex right on them, so they’re easy to identify. And, I haven’t tried it yet, but I know that Norwex has a Car Kit, with products specifically for cleaning cars, and they say CAR on them. Identification! I actually am thinking of giving that to my husband for Father’s Day. He’s all about a clean truck. Oh, and to answer your question, I would imagine that black grease would stain the cloths. I use mine to clean off my mascara, spills, oven grease, etc. and there are no stains from that.
