Want to hear a story about the best cleaning cloths in the world? Okay. Once upon a time, I was invited to a Norwex party at a friend’s house.  I hadn’t heard of Norwex before and didn’t know if it was worth my time, so I told my friend that I would just buy something from her party online.  I went on their site, picked out a couple cleaning cloths (or EnviroCloths) and called it good.  I didn’t know ANYTHING about them, just rumors that they were basically magical.

My EnviroCloths arrived and I was instantly hooked!  They did such a great job of cleaning!  When I wiped my counters, there were no crumbs left behind, grease smears, or anything.  It was awesome.  I knew they were microfiber, like other microfiber cleaning cloths I had, but why did they work SOOO much better than those?? I didn’t know.  All I knew is that every time I washed it, I was bummed that I had to temporarily use my other crappy kitchen cloths, until my Norwex one was clean.

So… I decided I needed more Norwex cloths!  But, I needed someone to have a party.  I waited and waited, and finally it happened!  I got my invite, and I was ready to PAR-TAY!  Like before, I decided to do my shopping online, but before I bought anything, I wanted to watch a YouTube video on the different products, to help me decide.  They’re not super cheap, so I had to pick wisely (however, soon enough you end up saving tons of money by not buying cleaning products and just using water! … I’ll tell you about that in a minute.)

Those amazing cleaning cloths were even more magical than I realized AND I learned why!  Get this… so, these microfiber EnviroCloths have fibers that are 1/200th the size of a human hair.  That is so much more fine than your standard microfiber, that can be as big as 1/6th the size of human hair.  That is why they pick up EVERYTHING.  In fact, they pick it up and don’t let go.  And, THAT is why they don’t cross-contaminate, spreading germs all over the place.  That is also why you don’t need to use anything but water to clean with!  These Norwex EnviroCloths will clean your counter BETTER than Clorox wipes, 409, or any household cleaner you might use.  That’s a big statement, right?  It is.  But, there are studies and experiments to back it up (just one of the examples is the video shown above.)  Anything you clean with these cloths and water will be more clean and sanitized than if you had used your cleaning chemicals.  Whoa.  That’s some money-saving happening right there!

This before and after picture is just from ONE wipe-across with a Norwex EnviroCloth, ONLY using water.  It got the grimy finger and grease marks off, without spreading them around, and without leaving water streaks all over my microwave.

But, then it gets better.  Embedded IN the cloths is an anti-bacterial silver agent that inhibits the growth of bacteria and purifies the cloth.  That’s why it doesn’t stink! …IF you take care of it properly.  When you’re done using your cloth, you simply rinse and rub it in hot water (you can use a drip of dish soap, if you want), squeeze it out, and lay it out to dry.  As it dries, the silver will go to battle with the bacteria and you’ll be left with a fresh cloth, ready to use.  You can launder your cloths maybe once a week, and start all over.  (Even MORE specific, regarding care: do not wash them with fabric softener or bleach.  Use an environmentally friendly detergent and dry with lint free items.)  It’s amazing, my friends.  I was kicking myself for not realizing the goodness of these cloths earlier.  I had been bleaching and using fabric softener with my cloths that I had purchased from the first party, all things I shouldn’t have done.  They still work great, but not like they did before and I’m sure I deadened the effect of the silver.

So, after watching several informative YouTube videos, preparing for my purchase, I pretty much wanted one of everything.  And, this time I was going to take care of my cloths like the gems they are.
