This time of year, I’m browsing book sections everywhere I go, looking for the perfect books for my kids for Valentine’s Day. I’ve told you about our scavenger hunt tradition, where the kids find their new books, a card from mom and dad, and some Valentine’s treats along the way. You can read that post, here: Our Valentine’s Day Family Tradition. Anyway, I wanted to share with you the books I currently have in my online shopping cart right now. I think I found some fun ones!

AWESOME Written All Over You ~ Valentines Printable
I hope you have enjoyed all of the Valentine printables this week! Next week is another favorite series of mine, Forever My Valentine… remember that one?? The one where we get a sneak peak into the love life of random people?? Ha, yep! But more than satisfying any nosey-needs we might have, all of these posts should inspire you and give you some great gift ideas for Valentine’s Day. Oh, and I almost forgot… ANOTHER fun series will be running all through February, every Sunday (starting in 2 days!) It’s an inspirational series all about love, and what it is. I’m excited to share it with you! It’s been on my mind for months and it’s finally time to get it out there.
Now, back to printables…
‘Of All the Fish in the Sea…’ Fish Valentine Printable
Besides my kids being obsessed with Capri Suns, my kids could eat Goldfish Crackers all day long. I’ll buy goldfish crackers for my baby to munch on in church, and before Sunday even comes, my older kids have found the stash and they’re completely gone. Also gone, mine and Dan’s private stash of beef jerky and Whatchamacallits.
So, how about a fun Valentine printable revolving around Goldfish Crackers?? I know my kids would love to receive one!
Baked Ziti ~ Kid-Friendly (and awesome!)
Alright, who is going to be the first person to look at my picture and tell me that’s not Baked Ziti… it’s penne… ?? I know, I know! I kinda just like penne noodles better because they’re not so big. But, penne, ziti, rigatoni… whatever you choose, your family will love this. I know mine does! It’s man-friendly (plenty of meat), kid-friendly (no onion or tomato chunks), and mom-friendly (easy to make!) When I ask the kids what to make for our big Sunday dinner, this recipe for Baked Ziti is often at the top of the list.

Chocolate Peanut Clusters ~ Easy Valentine’s Day Treat!
It makes sense that chocolate peanut clusters would be easy to make, but I think I never realized just HOW easy they are to make! I’m talking, it takes 3 minutes to prepare, 3 minutes to drop in clumps on wax paper, and 5 seconds to stick in the fridge. So, if you have 6 minutes and 5 seconds to spare, you could easily make peanut clusters.

Simple Corn Bread Muffins with Maple Butter (she: Jana)
These simple Corn Bread Muffins are one of my favorites and they are so quick and easy to throw together, they almost always make an appearance with any soup we have. They have just the right amount of sweetness in them and they’re not dry and crumbly like a lot of corn bread can be. They can be eaten plain, with butter or honey, jam or my favorite…maple butter. They make the perfect addition to your favorite soup. And if you’re planning on having soup or chili for the Super Bowl (Go BRONCOS!!! Yes, I’m a Coloradan and a Manning fan!!!) these would make the game (and soup!) even better. So check them out and add them to your party line up (or maybe just your next dinner).

I can’t say that I wear very much makeup, but I definitely like to try all the latest and greatest items on the market. Birchbox is a monthly subscription company that will send you a small box every month with samples of the newest beauty products on the market.
Surviving Motherhood: 12 Ways to Make it Through Alive! (she: Jamie)
Don’t get me wrong, being a Mom has it amazing and beautiful moments, it’s just harder than I ever imagined (I know I’m not the only one who feels this way, right?!).
We are stripping everything down and going back to the basics! At the end of this year I want you to look back and be proud of your accomplishments, who’ve you become, and where you are headed. More and more, I’m coming to understand that happiness is something you do, not something that just happens to you. Positive psychology researchers have identified definite habits that cause happiness (and have determined that it’s not the other way around) — these include gratitude, exercise, doing nice things for others, and lots more. Keep reading for some basic tips for surviving motherhood and finding as much happiness in it as you can in it.
