There are different variations to this lemon bundt cake that are super easy to make. Our favorite is the way it is made in the video & in the recipe instructions, with lemon, almond and poppy-seed, but you can experiment if you’re not a lemon lover *gasp*!

Happy New year everyone It’s Jana from Double the Deliciousness. I love the fresh start that a new year brings. It’s a great time to reflect and see what improvements you can make in your life. And that is just what this sandwich is! Chuck full of veggies and good for you, this healthy Greek chicken pita sandwich is sure to wow. Just what my body is craving at this point. And to make it even better, this one is so quick and easy and tastes as good as any full fat recipe out there!
Christmas Quiche with Snowflake Crust (she: Jana)
I’ve been looking for a great breakfast idea for Christmas morning. Something easy, because I have always been a no big meals on Christmas day kind of gal…who wants to spend their Holiday in the kitchen cooking all day? I love cooking/baking and all, but on this day I just want to spend my time hanging with the fam!
So, when I saw this post that had 7 amazing pie crust designs I started thinking. That can be dangerous at times! HA! Anyway, I thought I’d whip up a beautiful Christmas Quiche with a beautiful snowflake crust (inspired by the Lovely Lace crust) that can be made the day before Christmas so that on Christmas morning all you have to do is bake and serve!
Raspberry Ribbon Pie & A Thanksgiving Pie Tradition (she: Jana)
Hello there! It’s Jana from Double the Deliciousness and I’m so excited that it’s pie season. That is an actual season in my world, and it’s one of my favorites! We even have a family tradition every year around Thanksgiving involving pie …….”We’re Thankful for Pie Night”! Every family brings their favorite pie and we gorge on pie and visit and laugh and have the best time!
We live a state away from family and so on those years we DON’T visit family for Thanksgiving we invite friends over to our home and enjoy pie together. Pie brings people together, did you know? And we love having friends over and eating pie together so much that on the years we DO travel we still have our Pie Night with our friends the weekend before Thanksgiving….and then we have our family one on Thanksgiving Eve. Yes, we end up having 2!:) You can never have too much pie, right? (Except that one year…spent the entire night with my head in the toilet. I didn’t think I’d ever be able to eat pie again…glad I was wrong!:)) It is the best tradition, and how could it not be…pie, friends, laughter, pie, family, visiting, and did I mention PIE?

I love that it is pretty inexpensive (minus the bacon…jeeze it’s getting out of control!) and easy to throw together. We don’t even peel our potatoes, just wash well and dice. This cheesy bacon potato soup can be ready in about 30 minutes. Perfect!
After School Snacks, Featuring Cheesy Ham Bagel Bites (she: Jana)
Hello! I’m Jana from Double the Deliciousness and I’m so excited to be here to share with you some great, easy, kid & teen friendly after school snacks. School is in full swing now & I don’t know about you, but the first thing I hear out of my kids mouths when we enter the house after school is “what can I have for a snack?”
My must-have for after school snacks is that they be quick and easy. Something that we can throw together before we get working on homework or start carpooling the kids to their different activities. I try to get/make healthy snacks throughout the week, but always make a fun sweet treat for Friday’s after school snack to welcome in the weekend!:)
This recipe is one of our favorite after school snacks, and it pleases my teenagers down to my 7 year old. Win!
