Strawberry Pretzel Popsicles (she: Allie)

Hello again, friends! Allie here, from Baking a Moment, to share this really fun, easy, and delicious recipe for summertime!

Promise me you won’t think I’m weird, or like a big food dummy, but honestly? I never even heard of that Strawberry Pretzel Salad thing until a year or two ago. I do not know how I made it through (ahem) thirty-mumble-mumble years without this ever crossing my radar. Especially considering food is my life. For reals. Like, sometimes I feel like it’s all I think about.

And, when I first started seeing it on Pinterest and stuff I thought it sounded kinda gross. I mean, sweet cream cheese and strawberries, yes. But pretzels? Not so sure. But here’s how the idea for strawberry pretzel popsicles was born:

Sequin Monogram Letter Tutorial (she: Darleen)

Hello! This is Darleen from Darling Darleen, and I am sharing another easy letter craft project. If you’ve read some of my other posts, I have a slight obsession with monograms. I just love how they can personalize a space or make a gift more sentimental. This is a fun, easy project making a sequin monogram letter. These sequin letters can be used as a decorative object for your home or office shelf or used for wedding decorations or a bridal shower. Or any party that needs a little bling! I chose gold, but of course you can do it in any other color or metallic.

Avocado Goat Cheese Dressing from Kleinworth & Co.

Avocado Goat Cheese Dressing (she: Gina)

Hi there! It’s Gina from Kleinworth & Co. I’m back today to share with you a quick & easy way to add a creamy & tangy avocado flavor to everything you desire. We always seem to have an aging avocado on the counter. Everyone loves them & so every trip to the market results in more avocados. But they have such a short window of time for perfection. I don’t want to waste them. So I have been using them in all sorts of recipes whenever I can. One of our new family favorites is this Avocado Goat Cheese Dressing.
It’s the perfect creamy dressing. My daughter (who is just crazy for salad) just loves having this in place of her regular Ranch or Italian dressing. The avocado flavor is perfect.

Glitter Star Cake Topper (she: Anne)

Happy June! It’s Anne from Circus Berry posting today, sharing a fun and spark-tacular DIY glitter star cake topper with you all. It is just what you need for a little bit of glam on top of your dessert and is especially great for the Fourth of July holiday. I, on the other hand, used it to dress up a special, post-dance recital treat for my daughter this past weekend. Anytime there is a good excuse to celebrate in the Circus Berry household, we do it!
I used silver glitter card stock. Change the colors to something more patriotic and you are good to go this Independence Day.

Whole Wheat No-Knead Bread Recipe (she: Maria)

Hello, Everybody! This is Maria from Shopgirl stopping by again to share a recipe with you! I’m so excited to share this recipe with you today, because I’ve been trying out and tweaking so many different bread recipes over the past couple of months, and this one is one of my favorites! I have made a couple variations of this whole wheat no-knead bread, and this version has great texture and flavor, and would be perfect to go along with some soup or a big salad in the summertime! What I love most about this recipe is not only that you don’t need to knead it, but that you simply mix all the ingredients in a bowl, cover it and let the dough sit for about 12 – 20 hours and then just bake it off and you have a beautiful loaf of bread! I usually prepare the dough in the evening and let it sit all night and then bake it in the morning. Here’s how you make it…

Disney World's Tongan Toast

Disney World’s Tongan Toast ~ Knock-off!

I haven’t been to Disney World since I was a little girl. I actually have a funny memory from being there too. I was probably in 7th grade and decided I needed to trim my own bangs. Big mistake. I cut a little off, crooked. Tried to fix it, crooked. Kept cutting and cutting, until they ended up being insanely mega-nerd short. Not to mention, they were probably an inch thick. That beautiful moment of my life fell right during our family vacation where I had to be seen by thousands of people and be the subject of dozens of my mom’s photos. I was super grumpy about it. Probably deserved a big kick in the butt… being grumpy at Disney World. Who does that?

Well, I can’t remember if I ever had the Tongan Toast, but I’m sure if I had, I might have been a little more pleasant, cause this stuff is awesome!

How to resize wallpaper on iphone

How to Resize Wallpaper on iPhone iOS 7

I learned something today! Ever since I added the new update on my iphone (iOS7), my wallpaper zoomed way in and I couldn’t get it back to normal size. Wallpaper is kinda important, ya know? I had a collage of all my kiddos on the screen and was so bummed when it was suddenly zoomed in, making it so only 3 of my 6 babies were visible. Not okay. I’m trying to keep my favorite kids a secret. 🙂 Just teasin. But, seriously… do you feel my pain? Did your wallpaper do the same thing?

Atlantic Luggage Review & Giveaway!!

Over the years I’ve collected a random mix of luggage pieces in all colors and sizes. We’re about to depart on a BIG adventure as a family, so I’ve been taking stock of our collection. Most of our luggage pieces have some defect … broken zipper, stuck handle, stiff wheel. Very frustrating.

In the next two months, we’ll be driving approximately 4,500 miles across the country (and back) to visit family, moving to Washington DC and then eventually departing on international postings for my husband’s new job. Bottom line – luggage will be a HUGE part of my reality!
