Luckily, this Incredibles countdown chain is so easy to make. You could even say that it’s easier than Dash winning a race! You’ll only need a few basic supplies and our free template to start. Here is a list of all the supplies that you’ll need:

The Incredibles Movie countdown chain supplies:

1 sheet of black card stock
1 sheet of white card stock
1 sheet of peach card stock
2 sheets of red card stock
1 printed template
Stapler
Double Sided Tape
String
Scissors

Once you’ve collected all the supplies, download the Incredibles Movie template here.

Once the template is downloaded, you’ll want to print it onto white card stock paper with colored ink.

At this point, you’ll want to gather the colored card stock paper. Now, slice the paper into strips that are 1.5 inches thick and 8.5 inches long. The card stock paper is already 8.5 inches wide, so you’ll only need to make cuts along the sides. To start building the Incredibles movie countdown chain, you’ll need one black and one peach strip for every two red strips.

Once everything is cut, you’ll want to start attaching the paper strips together to form the countdown chain. First, start with the black strip. Then, make a loop by connecting the two ends together and overlap them. Staple the loop in place.

After the black strip, you’ll want to string the peach strip through the black strip and make a loop. Once again, staple the loop into place.

Your Incredibles Movie Countdown Chain is coming along!

At this point, you will repeat the process with two red strips. This is the pattern you will continue to follow for the entire paper Disney Vacation Countdown chain. Put as many strips on the paper chain as you have days before your vacation departure. This way, you can count down to the exact date!

After the chain is completed, you’ll want to cut out the paper masks and Incredibles logos from the template. You need one mask for every peach strip on your chain. Additionally, you’ll need one Incredibles logo for every other red strip on your chain.

To attach the Incredibles designs, you’ll want to use a small piece of double sided tape and attach the mask to the center of each peach loop. You’ll also want to use the tape to attach the logos to the red strip. Keep in mind, the designs should be facing the same direction on each strip. This way, you’ll actually see the logo when the chain is hanging up for display!

Once all of the sections have been completed, you’ll be able to see that the Disney Vacation Countdown chain is a full of Mr. Incredible’s hooked together!

To make this Incredibles countdown chain even more “super”, you’ll want to cut out the header from the template. It says, “The days until our Incredible Disney Vacation…”

Once it’s cut out, you’ll want to loop a string around the top link in the chain.

Now, tape the string to the back of the Incredibles header. Now you can hang up the Incredibles countdown chain in your home! The best part? You can put the chain wherever you’d like!
