Are you looking for the perfect Valentine for the Star Wars fan in your life? Look no further! This Baby Yoda Mandalorian valentine with a frog treat is about as cute as they come! Baby Yoda has to be the very best thing that has come from the new Star Wars Series: The Mandalorian. Have you seen it yet? The Child, otherwise known as “Baby Yoda” was an overnight sensation. Baby Yoda memes are one of my favorite things on the internet right now. They make me laugh!
Baby Yoda Mandalorian Valentine ~ With a Frog Treat!
This little Baby Yoda Mandalorian valentine project will only take a few minutes to complete! I love it when things are easy. Don’t you? There are only a few supplies needed to make the Baby Yoda Valentine.
Download the Mandalorian Valentine Card
The free printable is available here.
Download the PDF file to your computer and then print it out onto cardstock paper. I like the heavier weighted paper for cards. It has a nicer presentation than regular printer paper.
There are four Baby Yoda Valentines on each printed page. Cut out the number that you need. I did a bubble cut around the edge of the circle, leaving a small white band around the outside of the valentine. I think it is easier than trying to cut right along the pink edge.
Baby Yoda Eating Frog ~ Valentine Treat
Ok! So the card can go pretty much with anything. But, I wanted to pair it with FROGS! If you are going for a non-candy option, you can buy plastic jumping frogs from the dollar store or order them quickly from Amazon. I found two types of candy frogs at the grocery store. There were colorful tree frogs in the bulk section and then the packaged Haribo gummy frogs in the main candy aisle. Either one would be perfect!
If you haven’t seen The Mandalorian yet, you may be wondering what is up with the frogs?! There is a scene in the show where Baby Yoda spots a frog. It is during Episode 2 when Mando meets back up with Kuiil. He pounces on the amphibian and swallows the frog whole, legs and all. Mando orders the little alien to spit it out. Baby Yoda lets the frog slide back out of his mouth. His expression is priceless! Add on a cute little giggle and burp and the frog scene became an instant classic.
Putting Together This Star Wars Valentine
Make a hole in the top of the Baby Yoda Valentine with a hole punch. You can attach the card to the gummy frog package with some cute bakers twine. I used the hole punch tool to make a hole in the package. If you are using the tree frogs from a bulk section, place them in a cute little valentines bag or even a Ziplock snack bag. Attach the card with tape, ribbon, or twine! Whatever looks cute and makes things easy. I like to use the items in my craft drawer.
The message reads just like our favorite Yoda Master speaks. Backwards! “My heart leap, you make.” I hope your little Star Wars fans enjoy this Baby Yoda Valentine! I would love to see all the creative ways you use the printable. It would even be fun to tie the card around the neck of a cute stuffed animal frog.
