Since Valentine’s Day is coming up soon, I thought I would share this fun and easy (and so delicious!) sweet treat with you today! These little heart shaped puff pastry pockets would make for a great special breakfast or snack, and a box of these would make for a tasty gift on Valentine’s Day, or any other day!
This time of year, I’m browsing book sections everywhere I go, looking for the perfect books for my kids for Valentine’s Day. I’ve told you about our scavenger hunt tradition, where the kids find their new books, a card from mom and dad, and some Valentine’s treats along the way. Besides my kids being obsessed with Capri Suns, my kids could eat Goldfish Crackers all day long. I’ll buy goldfish crackers for my baby to munch on in church, and before Sunday even comes, my older kids have found the stash and they’re completely gone. Also gone, mine and Dan’s private stash of beef jerky and Whatchamacallits.
So, how about a fun Valentine printable revolving around Goldfish Crackers?? I know my kids would love to receive one!

No need to wait until the last minute to get some Valentines printed up this year! I have a really easy and free printable all ready for you today; it only needs a couple of cuts with a pair of scissors and some Valentine themed pencils or pens from the dollar store. This is much less time consuming than some of the crazy stuff you’ll find on Pinterest that makes you feel craft-challenged. So come on over and see what I’ve designed for ‘Or so she says…’
It makes sense that chocolate peanut clusters would be easy to make, but I think I never realized just HOW easy they are to make! I’m talking, it takes 3 minutes to prepare, 3 minutes to drop in clumps on wax paper, and 5 seconds to stick in the fridge. So, if you have 6 minutes and 5 seconds to spare, you could easily make peanut clusters.

As promised, OSSS is about to be oozing with Valentine’s Day printables! Of course, mixed in between all the delicious recipes and great ideas. First up, ‘You Are My Sunshine’. My kids could drink Capri Suns all day long, if I would let them. So, what better Valentine to give their buddies than something that they love themselves??

I don’t want my children to ever grow up feeling that Valentine’s Day is only awesome if you have a “lover.” I want them to always look forward to it. Which is why we call it “Family Love Day” in our family. It’s a day for showing each other love. It’s a day for having fun as a family. This can be done in a variety of ways: A fun breakfast in bed (or just a fun breakfast in general), a fun lunch with cute notes, or a night out on the town. My husband and I like to take the kids and go to dinner. If Valentine’s Day falls on a weekday we will take the kids to dinner and then celebrate as a couple on the weekend.
Okay, so talk about therapy. I’ve gone a little printable crazy the past couple weeks and have oodles of them to share with you! I never knew it would be so relaxing to sit down and create them. Dan will turn on his Cheers re-runs, and I’ll plop next to him with my laptop and take a much needed breather from the long day. I love it! Lots of them coming your way!
My kids and I love doing Mad Libs for school. It’s a fun way to brush them up on their verbs, nouns, adverbs, etc. I though it would be fun to create a Mad Libs for my husband and I to do. I printed it off and we’re doing it tonight! Knowing him, I have no doubt I’ll be cracking up.

I love discovering new and great online shops and I just recently heard about Erin Condren. Have you heard of it? It’s where you get ‘personalized, stylized, and organized.’ I checked it out and… um, pretty much want one of everything. Note cards, address labels, announcements, wrapping paper, note pads, ect. But, they are mostly known for their awesome, customizable planners for organization. I just ordered one a couple weeks ago and have been so proud of it. It’s so CUTE and totally appeals to my girly-girl side, with customized stickers, colorful pens, organization pockets, and inspirational quotes.
