We like to encourage our kids to be adventurous eaters and to try new things, but new things are not always well received, so breakfast is usually a safe and familiar favorite for nights when complaints about dinner are too much to handle. Oh, losing weight… the story of my adult life! With every baby I have (that’s 7!), it gets harder and harder to lose the weight after. It used to be that I could do practically ANY diet, and it would work… low carb, low fat, low calorie, etc. But, as I got older it has seemed like nothing works. I even worked with a personal trainer for two years, made some definite fitness progress, but really struggled when it came to cutting. I tried macros, her bodybuilding diet, and basically everything under the sun, to no avail. Ugh. Soooo annoying.
Whether they are bringing back old time favorites or introducing something completely new, Disneyland is constantly innovating. Here’s a glimpse into what you can expect at Disneyland 2017!

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we are in a congregation where we are asked to go and visit assigned ladies each month to really get to know them, share a quick message and find out if they have any needs to be met. It’s one of the ways we build friendships and help our leaders know any needs that families have. For those of you who aren’t members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I hope you can use these quotes and scriptures as well. Most of the subjects are universal Christian subjects and the quotes and scriptures are inspiring and helpful for everyone!
I’m sure most people have heard of subscription services by now. You can get grocery staples delivered via subscription, or clothes, makeup, and so much more. Today I want to tell you about Bookroo, which is probably the most exciting subscription I’ve ever heard of (I majored in English, can you tell?!). Bookroo offers… you guessed it! BOOKS!
My kindergartner is just starting to learn math facts. So far she is doing really well and has caught on quickly. I thought it would be fun to create a math fact sheet centering around Valentine’s Day. So cupid counting was created. I wanted to create something that could be used over and over again and help understanding the various combinations in adding up to different numbers.
This Family Night activity will help you teach your family how to love like Jesus did. Follow His example to bring more meaningful love into your family and other relationships. Jesus showed love in several different ways. Study his methods and then make goals to apply them in your own life.
